+Analyn Mapanao Yeah, most photos are not professionally shot. But yours was good because it did had some good lighting, even though it was dark. We improvise when we draw anyways=).

Wei, when doing a looser sketch like this, is it better to use a duller pencil? Does it have an advantage over a sharper point?

+Todd Prepsky Personally, I would prefer duller and softer pencil for loose sketches. That's becuase you can cover more areas quicker with a duller and softer pencil. A sharper point will look more like a pen and ink drawing. If you like the sharper look in your sketches, then the sharper and harder pencil would be better.
