Hello Becca, you are such a fantastic realism artist. I thoroughly enjoy your video's. Although I am 69 and could never do what you do I really enjoy the process and your work. I had a lovely little King Charles Spaniel called Tilly , she has just passed away and I sadly miss her company everyday.

Hi Becca.. i m loving your tutorial.. curious why did you add orange in the end in highlights instead of creating as base layer?

You can either add a vibrant colour fairly early on, which acts as a rich undertone, which tints the colours and layers you then add on top, or you can add a vibrant colour right at the end, with a light pressure. This will act as a glaze and keep everything really rich 🥰 Both ways work well, and if you do both…even better!

Just curious if u trace your outline. if not, very proportionate!! I do not trace, and I think I'm alright, but once it is all finished, I'll usually notice something like its face is a little to long or fat haha. (Absolutely amazing btw!! I learned a lot!)
