YOU THINK LIKE ME A BIT, and I have Savant Syndrome and heard you mention "Savant" in your video (Savant to me means pain and hurt and people think you're crazy!). I see everything through a 4D math lens, with triangles and square patterns guiding my art, I ONLY see those shapes, and I see them as patterns and it makes it super easy to copy ANYTHING IN THE WORLD! Math is a true art to me-everything boils down to basic shapes. Your approach really resonates with me! I'm working on a video about being an artist with Savant Syndrome. I copied DaVinci's Last Super in Kindergarten. Love your work, bro! Former Creative Director and copyist at the Met here. Keep inspiring! - PS Making a video about it- Ill post it soon! 👏

I can tell how nervous/out of your comfort zone you are talking for the camera and if just like to say it’s really awesome that you pushed through and got this video out there. You said a lot of valuable stuff and your art is killer. Keep it up man, you’re in the right track!

I love this concept of keeping references for helping influence the creative process rather than being something to directly copy from. I'm a beginner artist and I'd be really interested in how you progressed to the point you're at now, as i think your style is amazing. I know a lot of artists and talk about learning art "fundamentals". How did you start and progress?

Hey nice video, I really enjoyed the artwork, but there’s one thing I’m struggling to do consistently and that’s painting from imagination, I often find that my knowledge of forms from lines don’t translate well when I’m trying to paint. I need to know how to translate my thinking from lines to shapes and values. would you say that when you’re painting, are you more focus on the present not really not knowing what the outcome of the next stroke could mean for the painting, maybe not knowing what you’re trying to aim for clearly?, or do you know the exact shapes and their corresponding value of things and you are more like doing a jig saw puzzle knowing full well what the outcome is going to be?
