"If you start going offtrack, don't panic. Just go back to where you messed up and adjust your path instead of starting over from the very beginning. If you do adjustments like this often, you will be able to spot patterns of mistakes, if there are any. Once you have this valuable information, you can predict mistakes before they happen, allowing you to stay on the right course and prevent mistakes in the future" Came here to learn drawing circles. Left rethinking life philosophy.
Another method I used when I was doing hand lettering (back in the 70’s) similar to your dashed line method. Start with a vertical and horizontal lines, a cross...( you can use it later anyway) then at 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, and 9:00... draw a short arc, then fill in the blanks with similar arcs gradually using fewer and fewer. I landed my first lettering job by being able to draw a so called perfect circle for a letter O, a lot of practice for sure. Love your tutorials.
Me: *searches up how to draw good faces* Step 1:draw a circle Me: well I will brb to go look at a video how to draw a circle This is how many times I messed up 😌 👇🏽
1: 13 mins, 3 circles, 2: you know your handwriting is bad when someone else's handwriting is better than yours when they are writing with their non dominant hand, and 3: 13 mins 3 circles...
Just started with drawing and was embarassed about that im not even able to draw a circle. Never thought there would be tutorial. Thank you so much. It helped me alot!
**Asks girls before class if they want me to draw them a picture** **they freak out and can’t wait to see my art** **come back with a book full of scircles after class** Reaction: 😱😱😱 “ I’m keeping this in my loose leaf! (Actually happened) 🤣
I just did this practice today. The one where only moving your shoulder and elbow seems to work the best for me since my circles come out much faster. My right hand produced better circles with this technique while my left hand produced shaky ovals. But I'll keep trying until I get better at it! Thanks for the helpful tutorial!
1. hold the pencil with dominant hand 2. rest that hands wrist on the paper (the smaller the touching surface the better) 3. put pencil on paper 4. use your other hand to rotate the paper you just used your hand as a compass to draw a nearly perfect circle. change angle of the pencil or the point where your hand touches the paper to vary the circumference
Thank you so much for this video . I was horrible at circles the short strokes circle is what helped me instantly on my circles and before I was only moving my fingers and wrist the arm and shoulder movement was awesome! The whole video is awesome super helpful thank you.
It's best to do what's called underdrawing where you draw a rough shape where you use a hard grade pencil which is lighter and sketch lightly and loosely with your hand positioned according to how big the shape will be and then using a kneaded eraser to lighten but not completely erase it using minimal pressure yet still having the general shape still visible. Then you use a dark sharp point pencil to refine the lines you want.
You are amazing! I wanted to become good in drawing so I could actually draw somthing good, but I never got a chance finding the perfect video for me cuz nine of them helped ..... then finally I saw one of your video and started seeing more from you, and I have noticed that I got better at drawing a little bit!
