This is amazing, I've been struggling with drawings the ribcage/torso, so this came on time. Though I sadly can't afford the price currently, hope these free small videos will continue, as they are very entertaining, relaxing and makes me want to draw.
Hi, thank you for this video.I enrolled 3 months ago and I m very grateful to drawing art academy for their lessons.Could you please let me know how I can get the template of the ribcage please
I wouldn't call those drawings "from imagination", as they were all apparently re-drawings, memorized during the live (or from photo references) studies he has previously done many times. But I still appreciate the effort making this video and helping. people.
Where did you get this idea from? Most artists who do imaginative figure drawings just draw the figure in poses that they could believably be in a session. Why do you believe these were all direct redrawings? Or, are you pointing out that after years of figure drawings he can now do them without reference due to training his visual library? Most people would refer to this as figures from imagination or figure invention. It's similar to how comic artists can draw poses and characters from imagination after years of extensive practice.
The clay part was so hare for me, how do I make the lower cut accurate? I looked for tut on how to make one but failed, mine looked more of a two balls and a very thin neck, I tried this 3 times so far and each time it only gets worse :( + sorry for poor English.
