@@DrawlikeaSir hi marcel big fan been watching for 3yrs but not with this account anyway I'm going yo make a superhero manga that takes place in the 1940s and I still have problems drawing and what type of pencil should I use
I use a different method than all the others I draw stuff like the chest and the waist like a simple box or something like that, and I draw things like shoulders and knees as circles, then I draw limbs as lines, and to finish it I just fill in the gaps and replace the lines with actual body parts
Fantastic advice 🫶 I've just gotten back into drawing humans and have not yet found the method of constructing the body I'm most comfy with, so I'm curious to try these options out 😁
Sir I have to say I started learning drawing a month ago and you have been my light in the darkness you have genuinely guided me in every single way and continue to do so with your videos. I love your channel and your videos always motivate me thank you from the bottom of my heart
Hey Marcel! I just wanted to drop by and let you know how much I've been enjoying your channel. I stumbled upon it a few days ago and I've already binge-watched half of your videos! Your content is not only informative and helpful, but it's also incredibly entertaining. I love the comedic elements you incorporate into your videos - they really make the learning experience enjoyable. I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the effort and hard work you put into creating these videos. It's clear that you're passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others learn, and that's truly commendable. Keep up the amazing work, Marcel! I'm looking forward to watching more of your content in the future!
I just finished drawing poses and i see this video I personally just started but i use some sites that generate random poses for a set amount of time and its pretty usefull
Hello! Can you please make another video on drawing head from all angles? Btw I love your videos you helped me a lot (I know, it sound funny, but you also motivated me to learn German more :D)
i picked up drawing again after 2019 i think today. ive been interested in artists and idk i watched alot of critique/tutorial videos even when i had no intention to start. your video was one of the first I watched today, and i started practicing with 3d shapes snd just drew my first torso i was decently happy with. i was struggling with finding an anatomy video i could understand so seeing this in my notifcations was a nice surpirse. thank you for all that you do‼️‼️
i really appreachite your videos. Keep going. I'll be waiting for your tutorials no matter how long you are goanna take to upload. Take your time. Take care of your health and have a great day.
You are so genuinely entertaining while also being super skilled in both art and teaching!! I watched these videos to learn, but they never end up feeling like a class or even like a tutorial because they're so fun to watch and easy to digest. It's always a little intimidating hearing from experienced artists, especially because many of them can end up sounding very elitist, but you're always encouraging people to learn and experiment for themselves and I really appreciate that. Thank you so much for making these videos and giving us genuine lessons for FREE!
I have this caveman method where i draw a stickman to get the general shape right, and then immediately add the clothes and it turns out decent actually
I told my art teacher about your channel. Now every time she has to show us a video, she shows yours as they're so beginner friendly! Thank you Marcel! ❤❤
Absolutely disagree with your observation that it is impossible to draw different body types with the first method! Simply draw the cubes and cylinders and implement the fat and/or muscles on top.
This editing is horrible for my adhd, all the loud sound effects, the fast paced music going in and out and especially the “more” thing you keep adding
I really appreciate your videos Marcel, they are so amazing, and they really help me a lot with my work, and the effort you put into these videos are amazing! You deserve more subs and Thank you for everything. Love from Hong Kong. ❤❤
The MORE got me 😂 Great tutorials! What are your thoughts on gesture drawings? I sometimes do gesture drawings and they really help me understand curves.
Thanks for the advice on drawing it really helped me out, drawing body’s shapes and other stuff is hard, but with your help it really makes it easier thank you for sharing your advice and what you know.
Because of your videos I've been able to draw a whole body from start to finish without any reference used Now I wonder what I can with references... Hmm...oh yeah!, a giant 80s samurai robot riding a dinosaur, my dreams are finally coming true all thanks to you
I kinda prefer the boxes and circles method but I do it slightly more advanced since I’m getting better at drawing human beings. But I shall thank you for teaching me how to draw people and not skin walkers. :D
i have a question :i know is is a dumb one but im trying to learn the jojo styel and i have no idea how araki doese his bodies .so i would like to know what does araki use ?
Damn I never expected the 6th method is all of the above it's the one I use most of the time, yet I always question myself why I always switch between those methods and if it's right or wrong I really like the Sculpting method yet when I do it I feel like "i'm not drawning in the proper way" But other times I find myself starting with boxes if the perspective is weird and the silhouette method is really awesome to get the shape and proportions right I thought I was weird every time I start drawing with a different method than before it feels like a voice in my head telling me "why are you using method X now? Don't tell me all the time you spent on learning Method Y is wasted because you aren't using it" Once again thank you for the big revelation Sir you literally the first one I knew who bought this topic whereas every other artists is like "yea Stick with one method like I do" and nothing wrong with that, but guess this shows that there is million ways to start a piece and there is no wrong or correct answer
