@@michaeljohnnolan I'm going to be attempting my very first landscapes with those two big canvases. What I NEED to be doing is this portrait of a friend for xmas, but I'm caught up in perceiving the pieces of a face instead of seeing the shapes that make up a face. I have been needing a way to focus my study on the face so I could judge progress instead of just doing stuff until it looked right - a way of learning I try to avoid when I can.

But what WAS interesting is when he said a quote “a rising tide raises all ships.” Meaning when one creator shows other creators what’s next level production, they have to excel too.
