Since I too am a beginner at learning how to paint with both Alcohol and Watercolour Markers, when I started watching your RU-vid tutorials I appreciate the step by step explaining what colours and techniques you use according to your video tutorials. What I also appreciate is your video tutorials are NOT too quick which is great👍🏼for beginners and intermediate level to follow. I hope your video tutorials include how to paint with watercolour Markers too.

As a novice marker student I found your video to be excellent. The pace was perfect for me. You showed the work from pencil to finished product. you showed the colors you used. Your explanations were clear, concise and to the point. Your voice is also very pleasant to listen to. I don't know what accomplished professional artists might think but if they are that good why are they roaming around youtube criticizing others and not making their own videos to help people? My point being is this. Don't take critical comments you may receive to heart. Many of the critics aren't really artists themselves but just pretend to be. BTW I'm 71 years old and I'm starting this as a hobby. Please don't change your style too much, I liked it so much I subscribed. Have a wonderful life!

Base in my experiences as an illustrator, it's more difficult to color traditionally than digitally.Since most of my works are digital, I will apply your method on my unfinished colored manga. Thanks for this tutorial. This is really a great help for me.If I'm done with my work, I will go back to traditional drawing.
Okay so for months I've been REALLY wanting to drawing/shading nature and outdoors stuff, and I just came across your channel 18 minutes ago, (cause I've been watching the video 😂) and I cannot emphasize how much I love it so far. Your style is so simple to do, yet it looks so detailed cause it gets all the main points that make it stick out, and it's just so perfect!💕💕💕 And I love that I can literally just freely draw while watching the video instead of some others being so fast paced and BAM you're done! But with this, I can just relax, and chill, and learn something new without the stress of having to constantly pause the video! Tysm you are seriously so sweet and talented I just had to subscribe. Thank-you for reminding people that a "certain look" might be the reason for some people using techniques that are not advised in this video; I value this comment b/c I've noticed that many instructor's don't include reasoning that safe guards the diversity of the artist collective; meaning the collaborative nature inherent in the unfolding of talents, evolutions etc. and this means that thoughtfulness regarding individual efforts in the overall--wonderful--creation of delight is pricelss and I am grateful for your video on behalf of each and every person working to generate art matters. I didn't know how to do architecture style drawing before either. that's why I'm uploading these tutorials to share some tips I learned from the past. I'm hoping to create more detailed videos showing how to do the quick architecture style sketch later.

My older sister got me this huge set of alcohol markers for my birthday and i honestly never used that kind of stuff for my art before thankfully i came across this simple beginner video❤ tysm
Thank you SO much, I've been wanting to dip my toes in to drawing trees, particularly using markers and this is very helpful. I wonder, do you use reference images or are these tree "formulas" a result of an imaginative process?
Thank you!!! That's a great question! 💖💖 So the results of all my drawings in my channel are based on my imagination. But the foundation is through learning from references. So what I did was finding lots of reference pictures or taking pictures outside by myself to observes the details first🌲🌳🌴. Then I would do tons of sketch practices to create an easy formula.✍✍ Then I will use the formula to start to draw from my immagination. But for beginners, I definitely recommend using reference pictures to draw. That was what I did at the beginning when I first started learning drawing. But right now I'm focusing on drawing from my imagination. By doing tutorials and summarizing all key point is really helping myself. Believe it or not, sometimes after a long time I don't draw any trees, I need to check my own videos to see how I did it before haha.
@@AimianArt thanks for the explanation! And it totally makes sense. You're building a mental/image library to work from. It's like someone who draws flowers all the time has an easier time drawing a flower from their imagination vs someone who focuses on trucks. LOL I get it and appreciate the examples you provide.
Well done with the tutorial! Simple enough for beginners which is very good, thank you. Just one thing i would like to see in this type of tutorials - more explanations for even most basic things, like why you use this color right now (maybe because this shadow helps this tree make more depth or because you see a bunch of leaves sticking there etc.) Maybe it's just my issue but for me hardest part is try to think like an artist :) But anyway thanks for good video!
