How to Draw Wildflowers by John Muir Laws 

Thanks for sharing this. Muir is a an incredible teacher. Again, he has taken complex concepts and taught them in an accessible way with clarity and a truly infectious passion for nature. His book on nature journaling is on my wish list. I have to get through his book on drawing birds first. Excellent!

Hi. When I teach students to place markers around a circle, I get them to think of a clock face. Divide into four? Is therefore at 15minute intervals - 12 6 9 and 3, divide into 3 is at 20 minute intervals, dive into 5 is at 12 minute intervals. I find this helps a lot. Great tutorial -I learned a lot. Thanks.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm seeing a reverse symmetry, in that the right side of the leaf, at a 45 degree angle and turned, is actually the identical to the left side if it's flipped over. Does that make sense? If you split the leaf in half and flipped one side over the angles would be identical to the other half of the leaf.
