I live in a humid tropical country I have come to learn that layering is a actually better for the summer than just wearing one layer. A thin undershirt made out of linen wicks away the sweat off the skin. I've come to accept that I really just sweat as a human being lmaoo and having the wicking fabric removes it from my skin bc the humidity refuses to evaporate it off me 😭it's so much more comfy plus it protects my outer clothes from sweat stains too
as someone who lives in a tropical country where we kinda have to dress for summer almost all-year round (but LOVES layered looks), i kinda needed this. tho some of these are still not like . feasible for the weather here (1 layer of a long-sleeved top would still have me sweating buckets if i stepped outside-- for reference, average temp here would be 30 deg Celsius/93 deg Fahrenheit but feels like 40 C/104 F lmao), this was an insightful watch !!
For my sweaty hyperhydrosis girlies, who worry about armpit stains: try special sweat T-shirts with a sewn in barrier under the armpits. you will feel dry without worries, no leaks and you can wear whatever Color you like on top. I wish I got them myself earlier, that’s a product that really rises quality of life, life Changing for me
@@itxeltc hi, mine are from “fibershirts”. I don’t know if they are available everywhere but I liked them, their shirts fit me well and they are made out of thin natural and breathable material. But right now many are sold out already for weeks, I hope they’ll restock soon. (I don’t recommend the mesh ones, they were pretty uncomfortable for me)
It's a love hate relationship with summer. My mood definitely improves during summer. Something about having the sun out earlier and longer days it really makes me happy. I am not so depressed and I have more energy to go out and be active. I also eat so much better bc all I want to eat are salads, smoothies, fruits & drink tons of water. Basically for my mental health and physical health summer is better BUT at 32 yrs old I can no longer tolerate the heat like I use to. I also started to sweat 24/7 for the past 3 years which in the past I NEVER sweated, I use to be able to wear jackets in the 80-85 degrees and was ok. Now even during the winter I am sleeping with the window open and fan on. And I dress like a tomboy, all baggy and love sweats, hoodies etc so summer dressing is not my thing. The struggle!!
So like, as a 200lb taller girl, I have always been limited bc of my hips and butt but now it always feels like if I show anything at all Im “too sexual” or vulgar? Does anyone else struggle with this? Like I just want to wear a dress or shorts and feel cute like other girls but the clothes look different on me. So I’ll start with an outfit look at it and slowly cover myself up again :/ I am losing weight again, but even when I was 115 years back I still felt this way. It makes me never want to come out of the big shirt and leggings or baggy shorts combo 😅
i think u, rian phin and percia are my favourite ppl to listen to talk abt fashion i love the awareness of fashion as both a perception game and a relationship to the self... genius
I try to go with linen and cotton shirts. I have one shirt that is SO GOOD for summer but I don’t know which material is (does not wrinkle and is slippery). And don’t wear very tight tops since my sweat will be very visible lol. But I always cover up my legs cause I sweat more with shorts. Unfortunately boots won’t work in my country with 30 degrees of Celsius 😭
this video is so relatable omg... also duradry's 3 step routine has been a life-changer for me btw !!! i just need to recommend it to anyone i can that struggles with sweat
Tbh my biggest issue with summer is SHOES! Bc my skin is very sensitive and I sweat and I can’t wear sandals and cute little kitten heels :((( bc my skin will bruise lol… so I’m stuck with sneakers and I hate it!!!!
It sucks how fashion/style in hot weather is always out the door for me because I would rather be comfortable and just survive the heat. Thank God for accessories though. If anyone has recommendations for underwear/bras/tank tops for sweaty folks that are size inclusive please let me know lol 🙏
100% same little pants big top is always such a safe bet for when i want to feel both cute and comfy!!! there's nothing better than loose short shorts (ie. bloomers) and like a slightly baggy sweater or oversized t shirt. that plus a pair of boots... 💋perfection
I needed this! It’s winter in Australia rn, but seeing the rest of the world dressing for summer was giving me dread. Now I’m genuinely looking forward to trying out smth new this year
ugh ty for this i get so sweaty and i hate wearing tight clothes in the summer, unless it’s little top + flowy pants/skirt. babydoll dresses are my go to since i’m short and they are airy, paired with any kind of platform
Please do more of these. I love them. Recommendations: bunny a novel, the dangers of smoking in bed, happy hour, a certain hunger, and the bad girls don’t die series
do u have the name of the boxers? ik you said they're from amazon, but I HAVE to get on my boxer grind bb pls give me specifics!!! also love the video pookie
