Hi from Norway. Were I live it got as cold as negative 14.8 F this winter, but that is very cold for this area. Bergen is less cold in winter but worse weather. I am norwegian and I hate the winter cold. So I am watching yours and other videos to cheer me up, and to motivate me to embrace the winter and be more proactive. I also lived in California for 10 years and never got bored of the weather there, sun and summer most of the time.....
Wow, the daytime hours being from almost 8 am to 5 pm means I’ll be heading to the clinic for work in the dark pretty much most of the year…. I’m a hibernating bear myself and cold weather actually makes me unproductive. Looks like I gotta take extra precautions…
I think that may be one of the harder things to deal with in winter, the short days! I ALSO love to hibernate and feel very lucky that for the most part I can schedule things during the daylight with my job. If you need to, invest in one of those lamps that help you function with less sunlight - I've heard they really help! I've considered one that acts like a sunrise and gradually lights at a normal hour as a wake up.
Thank you so much for this channel!!! We’re moving from ca to mn. and do not know what to expect! Cannot wait for your video on getting a home ready for winter. We have No idea? Wonderful and informative channel. Thank you
I find the legs the least likely place to get cold. Shorts till 30 degrees, just 1 layer to 10 below, and long undies and snow pants under 10 .below. I am from the Mesabi Range and walk every day of the year, except for a few days in the summer, which are just too hot.
I think a lot of people feel that way about their legs! However, IF you're cold, having your legs covered too makes a huge difference! And I often help people who are moving from hot climates so MN can be a shock! Thanks for watching. :)
