Besides Messianic types are not trying to be Jewish, we try to follow the Torah observant lifestyle (which varies greatly between congregations) as part of being grafted in and repentance. This is the true modest dressing. A lot of people try n justify true dressing of being modest with pants n it s a copout. Pants were not made for women dresses were n are. Thanks for sharing.
Dressing modestly should be unto God. It's His command. It's not to gain a man's respect. Yes it will have that effect but it's primarily obedience to God.
There isn't just one place, the clothes come from all over. you can find more modest pieces at almost any store its really about how you put things together. I will say though 'Ive found some great etsy shops that are specifically modest designs. Just search modest.

I have seen some back and forth happening on my videos about the topic of modesty so let me set the record straight by letting the scriptures speak. The problem as always with peoples interpretations of the scriptures is that when something physical (carnal) is spoken of in the scriptures people who are carnal do not understand the spiritual lesson. 1Peter 3:3 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Ok so we see here that the adornment being talked about has nothing to do at all with clothing, it is about the adornment of a "meek and quiet spirit" and an honor and reverence toward ones husband. This is the modest apparel that God is concerned with. He wants our hearts (minds) to be clean and pure, this is the true measure of a modest women. I know plenty of women who only wear skirts and cover their heads, but don't know how to respect their husbands. The clothes do not make the women, and that is the whole point of these verses. Don't focus on the outside by worrying about your hair, jewelry, and other, if your (mind) has not been renewed in Christ. Christ said, "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." (John 7:24) 1Timothy 2:9 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety Again these verses are not about physical clothing they are about a meek and gentle spirited women. Now when you look up the word modesty you will see that it deals in large part with humility, simplicity, and in terms of appearance, a manner to avoid indecency. So You can dress in any cultural style and serve the Lord. Work on the inner women first, Put on Christ and the spirit of Christ will tell you what is indecent. Not everyone will feel comfortable wearing the same types of clothing, it is up to your own discretion. Avoid revealing clothing that could attract sexual attention and you will be fine. --- But again you have to be right inwardly to be able to discern these things. I hope this helped someone. Still that women can't wear pants like men do everyday. Don't blend in to man's clothing. Women should respect themselves as well to men. If women are stubborn, dishonor, rebellious or disobedient to G-d means they are still of the world. If they want to honor and obedient to Him 100% then do not conform to the lifestyle of men. Women should wear modesty dress or skirts everyday, not man's clothes at all. Period!! Just pointing out the truth!!! (If you truly love Him, then obey Him with all your heart without being so stubborn, disobedient or rebellious like goats!)
Wheer I live it goes up to 112 degrees, and no way am I going to wear multiple layers with high necks and lengths down to the floor. When I lived in NYC it was freezing cold. Our church required skirts only. How utterly foolish and banal, 0 degree weather and we were wearing regular dresses, maybe thats why we were sick all the time, those high winds have a way of going up your dress, it was foolish and God never said to wear only dresses.
emily schwellenbach you can wear skirts and be warm. I live up North where we get brutal winters and I make it work. It’s all about layering. Wearing some thick leggings underneath a skirt goes a long way. Wearing proper shoes, such a boots and closed shoes vs flats and sandals helps too. Wearing nice sweaters etc plus a great warm coat. So it’s definitely possible to wear skirts all year long. In the winter you layer. And wear thicker fabrics, like nice wool skirts, long denim skirts etc. In the summer I still wear skirts but they are lighter fabrics like lightweight cotton etc. In the summer you can wear short sleeved shirts, with a nice maxi skirt and stylish sandals and not feel crazy hot. It really just depends on your dedication to being modest. If you don’t want to dress modestly then don’t but don’t say it isn’t possible to do so.
