@@dhiren06hey brother! Life is short - you are going to blink your eyes and you will be 50 all of a sudden. Listen to me: GET YOUR KICKS WHILE YOU CAN! And that is valid until you shed your mortal coil.
I recommend the beginners practice it with a bicycle to feel the momentum first. It’s super fun but a little distraction could cause a crazy front overturn. Stay safe guys
Of course he meant sliding sideways with the rear break, preferably down a slope covered in snow so it lasts longer. You can't pedal fast enough to properly drift, but sliding comes pretty close to the feel
plus one thing , the more power the better. as it helps keeps tyres from snapping back to grip in other direction which is almost always more dangerous than doing full circle.
Nice little video of the basics. People also need to remember to buy side protectors etc for your bike and a spare rear wheel only for drifting if its your daily. Have fun, stay safe
That is probably the best drift lesson I have seen so far. Just one question : when you are drifting, do you put pressure on the foot that is interior or exterior of the corner? Thanks for your help.
As someone that has crashed some bikes I'd reccomend buying a already damaged one. You will crash learning for sure , swap the crash bars to your clean bike later.
Would it be ok with the original sprockets ? Or better to change them ? And how about riding and drifting straight ? I have a z1000 from 2003 to play around. Daily is tracer 9gt. Thanks
One thing I noticed that none of the channels ever case to share is the tire inflation; for drifting the tires should be properly inflated to recommended PSI, maybe even a tad over. For wheelies, the tires should have a little less than recommended air, like 5-6 PSI or even a bit more less.
It helps a bit. But possible with oem. Or you can put one or two sizes smaller in front. Then also you could keep your chain cuz if you put big sprocket in rear you need new longer chain
