Wow how cool! How much energy do you save every month? I wonder if my HOA will allow me to drill one on my land lol

It uses 5x less energy than a natural gas furnace and about 2x less than a very efficient central AC. It will be 5 years in February. So far so great.

You've got a large yard. You didn't have enough space for a horizontal setup?

I wanted the better performance of a vertical loop and also didn't want to destroy all the sprinkler systems and landscaping that we had just put in.

How do they price a job like that?

By the lineal foot. It ranges from $10-30 per lineal foot depending on geography and geology.
