As someone who didn’t grow up in a household with a car, I really appreciate how you clearly explain everything, without in any way insulting people who don’t know the basics.
Took me sooooo long to get the hang of driving a manual. Almost gave up and changed to automatic, but stuck it out. If you're learning to drive a stick and it's not coming easy, don't give up!! You'll get there. :)
I used to watch your videos back in 2016 up to when I passed my test in January 2017. Your videos were a massive help and made everything a lot easier to understand! I’ve since also acquired my Class 2 HGV license and I now drive a lorry for a living! Keep up the great work!
Same! Passed in may 2017 and came back here to send my friend this channel. She’s struggling to get it. But coming back and watching what is now second nature is very weird. It all seems so easy, but learning it 😳😳
Excellent video as always thank you Chris. As a fellow driving instructor with more than 38 years teaching experience I can highly recommend these videos, I share them to all my new pupils and it makes the learning experience so much easier for them. Great to watch before a first lesson or as a recap after a lesson. Thanks again Paul K
You are a professional driver, you're commendable. I learned a lot from your videos. You're teaching safe driving. Keep up the good work and God will bless you more
Had my first driving lesson yesterday and my instructor couldn't believe it he thought I'd been driving for a while but I've been watching all your videos between two or three hours each day over the past month and took it all in so when I got in the car I knew exactly what to do and how to drive properly, he said I probably won't need any more than ten lessons to book in for my test, honestly guys if you know you're going to start learning to drive soon then spend a good amount of time each day watching these videos so you'll be prepared to when you have your first lesson, can't thank you enough Chris these videos have really helped me and will save me a lot of money on lessons
Thanks, Ross for this encouraging comment, I am a late developer at 51 even just considering learning to drive, I had a phobia of it all my life. This tip - to watch a video like this a lot before lessons, is exactly what I needed to get the confidence to go ahead. How is it going with your lessons? Best wishes with your learning!
@@clayepiphany6326 it's going r really well have done 16 lessons and my practical test is actually booked in for this Tuesday little bit nervous but am 100% ready, 51 is better late then never, just keep spending a good amount of time watching these videos everyday it really does help and when you go for your first lesson you'll know exactly what to do and also it will save you in spending a fortune on lessons
@@rossrobson1045 ah nice to hear back from you! How amazing you have your practical test just coming up! Fingers crossed for you, sounds to me like you'll fly through it at the first attempt! I'll definitely take your advice about watching the vids, this channel is one of the best I found, I suddenly feel there is a hope even for me 🙂 . Best wishes to you from sunny Devon and let us know how it went on Tuesday 👍
@@clayepiphany6326 thanks man appreciate it, yeah watching this channel has been very helpful also there's another channel that has massively helped check out DGN driving school that's got plenty of good videos where you can watch people take driving lessons and do their mock test so you'll know what to expect, the guy named Pin who's the instructor gives so much useful information
I am here to show gratitude to Chris I took my exam today and I passed thanks to these videos I can't just recommend them enough for how useful and helpful they've been. I can't believe they're all available for free.
Half way into the video, I feel like as if you are just here teaching me in person. You also communicate in clear terms so others can learn. Thanks dear. You've got a new subscriber
My family never had a car and I'm planning to purchase one but I am very doubtful if I can manage to properly use one. This actually gave me an idea and eagerness to try first. Thank you so much for the effort and detailed explanation ❤️
You'll be able to!!! As with anything, it only takes practice. I hadn't driven in something like 7 years and hadn't driven a manual in way longer but got put in a position of needing to do it and after 2 false starts, everything went fine. Once you learn, those skills will always be there

I first drove manual in my brother's Dodge Neon SRT 4. I haven't driven in a while and he's gonna have me practice more next time but with a different car. Watching these videos makes it seem more complicated somehow to me than when I drove. It sure was fun though and I can't wait to do It again. Also good video:)
You are doing really great. This the best tutorial channel for driving. I have recommended your channel to many folks and they are benefiting greatly as I have. I am a full time driver without going to to any driving school. Thanks to this channe👍👍❤l.
This is an amzing video! It basically answered all the questions I had about driving as a beginner. Thanks a mil man! I've been looking for a video like this one.
i’m so excited to learn to drive, this helps a lot! also made me realise that i have a LOT more to learn than i thought. i’m gonna sign up for my provisional license soon
1. Great advice. Checking all around me before starting the car. Turn my head, all around, left and right, look in the the front, sides, right and left, use the side mirrors, and learn my blind spots, use my rear view mirror. If I am baking up, keeping visual as at the beginning, place my right arm and hand on the top seat when needing to back out. 2. Making certain I know how to operate a manual car that has a clutch, break, and an accelerator with four gears and neutral. Regardless of what vehicle I drive, I must know how to operate it before driving.
hello there, im only 14 and i learnt something new in this video about driving manual cars( i dont drive ofcourse), its that you gotta press the clutch while coming to a complete stop. Thank you for teaching! I have a lot of interest in Driving but yes im only 14, so theres still 4 years to go and i am impatiently waiting haha. G’day sir
Buy my car today and l am so happy 😊 driving my own car feel good 🙌🏽and I'm happy and I want to watch more videos to get more information thank you CHRIS 🤗💃🏽😂
@@worlddriving most people learning to drive, like when I first started, would find this video perfect. It's mostly what beginners struggle with. That's why I'm sure it's helpful and perfect.👍
I'm about to take my very first driving lessons tomorrow so I thought I'd watch some videos as preparation, this is perfect, thank you for the video! 😆 Driving demonstration - bookmark - 19:55
@@worlddriving It was great, thank you! Your video was definitely a massive help, I felt a little less nervous because I knew the basics even before my lesson. 😆
This is super helpful! I got my theory test next month but I’m aiming to get my license this summer so I’m learning and planning ahead, can’t wait to drive a manual car it’s much more cheaper and if I pass in a manual I have both licenses for automatic and manual cars!
I've restarted my driving lessons last week after a 3 year gap, this video has helped me to recap, thank you. I was presently surprised to see you driving near my neck of the woods at the end of the video, that was near Beddgelert wasn't it?
right now im camping in a field and my parents have gone to the pub and I really want to drive a tiny bit but this is so confusing and ive had recurring nightmares about driving since I was 4 😭
Thanks this video was amazing, legally I i’m not allowed a license because I’m classed as visually impaired but I have enough vision To be able to drive i’m receiving lessons from my uncle and I’m just here to touch up my skills
Thank you so much. I understand what i did not know. I have a request.. Can you please make a video on how much we have to turn the steering wheel to make a turn?
