bought my first manual mustang 6 months ago they are the easiest cars to learn on and as much as i would love a 10 speed nothing beats the feel of banging gears
Awesome video on the hill assist feature. I learned to drive a manual ‘69 F100, with a 3-speed on the column. I had a large practice field , at age 14 …before I got my permit at 15. One of the perks of growing up in the country! Everyone needs to know how to do this. Great job educating people with driving a manual. That is the easiest first gear takeoff I have ever seen. Anyone could drive the new Mustang manual! That’s the hardest part …learning to get started in first gear.👏💯
Learned to drive on my grandads Opel, not sure what year it was but I started off with a manual and never drove another manual since. Wonder if I still got it but at least I can say I've never stalled lol. 🔥 content as always Jake
I was sink or swim when I learned. 1976 GMC 3500 dually dump truck. Had to drive the truck back from the shop (new clutch installed). My boss told me to get the truck back or find a new job.
IMO, they make manuals so easy to drive now, that I think even my wife could do it. Driven manuals since '92, first auto was in '02. Next auto (after 28 other cars/trucks) is my 2020 GT500 I got last year. As you can tell, I am pretty much a manual guy.
I LEARNED HOW TO DRIVE ON A MANUEL WHEN I WAS ELEVEN YEARS OLD,(IN 1973). IT WAS AN OLD VW BEETLE. MY CURRENT CAR IS A MANUAL. I KNOW THE NEW AUTOMATICS ARE FASTER,BUT TO ME THE MANUEL IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO,(I'M OLD SCHOOL)! I OWN A 2022 MUSTANG GT ICE WHITE EDITION WITH ACTIVE EXHAUST AND IT'S A 401A PACKAGE,(DIGITAL DASH,FULL LEATHER,ETC).
So I know how to drive manuel, but I still get nervous about driving manuel vehicles because I seem to have trouble of getting the hang of first gear, or getting the car going.
Bro every manual ive ever driven is the same.. if ur on a flat road u can take off without throttle.. even lil old 4 bangers will do it, obviously more torque the easier it is, hence why a diesel is even easier to do so.. but yeh not a bad vid mate. These things are taking fn forever to get to Australia... Manuals for life mate.
