Driving a car for the first time can be a daunting experience because there are many things to worry about; however, this tutorial should help you to understand the basics that are involved in driving a car! My mom insists on teaching me how to drive but, she thinks I know how to drive. I don’t know how and she just yells at me because I don’t know what I’m doing. She recently slapped me because I apparently am being “stupid” and “I’m only acting like I don’t know how because I don’t want to do it”. I want to learn how to drive so I can get as far away from my parents as humanly possible. But I would rather be taught by someone who doesn’t scream at me if I’m hesitant because I’m nervous. And doesn’t fucking hit me because I don’t know what I’m doing.

D well for me I would say that learning to drive with my dad is way better than driving with my mom!!! She literally ended yelling at me because I learnt to drive with both feet first rather than one and gosh I’m driving now with my dad!! And yeah I learnt first to drive with two feet and idk if that will change in the future!!! But i hope so or I’ll end up in the cemetery!!

If you see a yellow light on the traffic light, take the foot off the gas and move it over to break pedal. Listen as the engine downshifts and when you start approaching red light,slowly press on the break. It's a good idea to practice in empty parking lot to get used to your car responding to your breaking. This will teach you how to break softly and will help with preserving your break pads from premature wear and tear.

I got my permit at 16 and I'm now 18 and I'm so scared of driving I never went back. I probably need to tho cuz my permit expired and it's not like I can use it for the rest of my life but I also can't even park a car. I'm gonna be 24 and still don't have my license because my family always keeps me inside the house. Luckily I applied for jobs to find my way out of this cage. They only taught me to drive i neighborhoods and shame me for not getting a license like my younger cousin who's mom is less strict. Got my Ontario license in 1979. (Yeah I'm old now) Back then you just had the one learners permit called the '365'. Had to renew it twice because it took me 2 yrs to pass a road test. However, been accident-free since then. The rules may seem common-sense to you, but there are a lot of morons out there who have to told everything multiple times, using small words. (or so it seems)

Being 21 and have your mom yelling at you and making you nervous. She literally had me go through the highway and with my nephew in the back seat. @YT User manuals are much cheaper to fix and you don't have to stop to put it in sport mode and neutral. Its already in sports mode! You have full control of the car and it is much more fun. Also, with manual transmissions you can put your car in low gear while downhill. This will slow your car down without using your brake pedal and not wear your brake shoes

Thank you for the video, I am 44 and finally decided to overcome my fear of driving, it's not easy at first but after six hours practice i'm not shaking anymore when i sit behind the wheel, my voice still cracks when i talk and have nervous laughter sometimes but slowly i'm becoming more comfortable, it is an amazing experience that i should have had when i was young but now at my old age it has given me something new to look forward to everyday, i don't actually regret entirely that i miss this for such a long time because now it is happening, thanks for the tips.

Very explanatory tutorial, from starting the car to parking it. This is great! I know how to drive manual cars, but I have never driven an automatic one. Shame that driving school is so expensive that I have to turn to RU-vid. But something is better than nothing, tbh. Also, nice instructions! You're getting me over my small fear of not trusting myself while behind the wheel. I prefer this than my dad stopping on the freeway or my mom pulling over and expecting me to just, go. All the while yelling in my ear. I'm 21 and as much as i want to learn to drive, I don't think throwing your child immediately on the freeway is gonna TEACH them to drive. That's like throwing a 3 year old in a pool and expecting them to know how to swim.

Hello, I am so happy today. i went for my first driving class taday (i am in dubai). i never drove any vehicle before in whole life. I was very nervus. suddenly two hours before my class i searched on you tube about driving tutorial and saw this video repeatedly 5 times. can you imagen? the foot placement and handling skill told in this video I followed exactly and its done. My instructor was shoked and said that "you are lied that you never drove". And he praised me also. Thnks for creating such a helpful video.
