Just got mine after a couple of attempts! Remember, failing the test doesn't mean you're a bad driver - keep practicing and stay positive. If you're feeling nervous about the test drive, consider getting a provisional driver's license. This allows you to skip the driving test and get your license sooner. Just like I did, you can contact a private license and professional DMV agent to help you with this process. With a provisional license, you can drive for 12 months before renewing it. I've been putting off my drivers test for a long time but to gain confidence and knowledge I've been watching this channel to prepare. took my test today and PASSED!! I was so incredibly anxious but it really was just the anticipation that was the worst. if I can do it, you can do it :))

@@jaynefaux9742 I just needed to pay for the license (around 57USD), gather some ID documents and schedule an appointment in my local administration and finances service center. I arrived, delivered my documents, got my photo taken and that’s it. The “test”, you could say, comes in real life where you have to sort out all kind of obstacles and other mad drivers… while learning how to drive 😅 About rules, principles and law, well… that’s something to be studied on our own in order to avoid bribes or scams. Mexico City is wild.

Passed mine first try! They didn’t have me parallel park or do backing. It was really easy, nerves were super high! Made a silly mistake in the beginning but my instructor was nice enough to let it go…

I failed for the second time road test because not really sure about my parallel park and the long backup. here in Canada, the examiner is very particular in the shoulder check, every turn needs to be shoulder checked and the eyes must be checked the rearview mirror and the side mirror left and right thank you for sharing this video with your daughter Jacqueline she is an awesome driver. my upcoming road test on July 22 I'm hoping 🙏 I pass ❤

Heyyy! I’m taking my road test in a couple of days and I’m a nervous wreck. There’s a lot of pressure on me and I’m trying my best to hold on and do well. Driving isn’t my best quality but I’m not so bad either. I’m PRAYING I pass. If I don’t pass, I’ll be so upset.
I've been driving for 15 years in Europe, UK and US too but it's time to get my CA drivers license. I'm nervous because I think after all these years I may have developed some habits that can get me in trouble. For example keeping my hand on the stick (i drive a manual, hope it won't be a problem). I try to focus on these things you guys mention in the video and hope for the best 😅

@@Zutobi_USHEYYY I passed just now lol I thought I failed due to a parallel park but it turns out I barely missed the curb. Test was like 4-5 minutes long and it turns out what almost made me fail was a wide left turn lol thanks
I failed my drivers test today because I believe my tester plays by her own rules. My brother warned me about her. I will go next week and I will request to have another tester. My brother had got another tester and he passed with flying colors.
Update I didn’t pass got 78 needed an 80. 😭😔 Almost! If I either pass parallel, backing, and parking on a hill then I would’ve pass the test. Going to practice. Second time a charm. 🙏🏼🤞🏼

Can you do like a shopping mall type (or something comparable) parking lot vid? Some of the right of ways in those environments are a tad confusing with the various types of lanes
@@jeffreyguam4678i passed! just barely though i failed parallel parking (i live in missouri ) and apparently a couple of my turns were wide but it went by quicker then i thought. I also didn’t do very good reversing in a straight line but i passed!

so i'm going to (hopefully) get my drivers license in late july, as thats when my test is. but just a quick question- is it any noticeably harder to drive somewhere in lets say, california, when you've lived in a more rural relaxed not so populated state and only driven there before? just asking cuz im from montana and the roads look so much bigger in texas, florida, california, etc.. and not to say it looks only more complicated but it looks like you have to just adjust way quicker to your surroundings and it kind of overwhelmes me, so just wondering incase i drive somewhere more populated in the future lol. thank u!
@Arubaza From a fellow North Dakota peep, I would assume since it’s more populated. You would most likely adjust to your surroundings quickly. I would also assume those states are quite different from the roads in Montana. Just assuming from driving to the cities a lot in the past few years :)
