The trunk thing is both annoying and great at the same time. If you get it right then it closes, no prints on your trunk lid. But if not you try again or just put fingerprints on the trunk. When it closes its so satisfying. Curious about the mirror dip. Do you still need to have it selected on the right mirror for it to work? PS the steering won't jerk back if you use your signal to change lanes. But lane keep can be good but sucks when the lines are faded etc

Very informative. I recently picked up an S3. In Daytona grey. I have an R8 in the same color. Loved the color so much I just had to do it. Looks almost Matt in certain light. They make the best cars.

Not many differences between 8V and 8Y my 2020 RS3 has many of the options besides the touch screen Stage1 tune and DSG it would rip new RS3

@willmotivation Prefer my 911 Carerra 4 GTS as daily driver over my RS3 as never have rear passengers or do Home Depot runs...haha...but a few convenience things you might find handy... - Long press door handle indent if your hands are full and you notice an open window or moonroof and it'll automatically close them and lock vehicle. Same dealio on key fob. Long press unlock button or indent to open all windows and tip up moonroof for car to cool down if activated in MMI. - Parking brake doesn't auto-disengage on throttle unless seatbelt is fastened. - Always need to leave side mirror adjustment knob to right if reverse mirror dip feature to activate. You need to adjust mirror tilt down while vehicle is in reverse. Driving and reverse tilt mirror positions and also steeriing wheel position (if you have powered steering column adjustment) is saved with seat memory button and key fob. - If you hold the ESP (Traction Control) button for around 10-15 seconds it should stay off till ignition is shut off and Launch Control will engage at a higher RPMS range instead. - If you have Matrix LED headlights option there should be a start-up and lock animation. - If you hit climate control button immediately after you shut off vehicle the climate controls will stay on for 15 mins or so even with vehicle off - Hold wiper stalk down for a few seconds after shutting off car to put into service mode for cleaning or for lifting off windshield when parked in snowy conditions.

How about a tutorial on how to get the car to my house? PS need auto start and get that air conditioner going before you get in. I always dream about the Rs6 but that car is very nice too. I believe if you turn on your blinker, the wheel lets go of auto

I just put a IE carbon intake on my '23 RS3 and man did it change the tone. Nice and throaty and you can hear the DV woosh and hear the turbo spool a little more.

The steering isn’t “auto drive” even though it will do it, it’s a lane departure warning. Leave your hand off the steering wheel and it will give you a warning. It even popped up on your screen.

The parking brake one, all my Audis had from 2016, just had to have your seatbelt on, but they do update software so my 2017 q2 now also has it, just hit the gas and the e brake releases

Did they remove the “drift” mode in the drive selection?

My 2019 rs3 the parking brake releases when you press the accelerator

Holding the left paddle for 5 seconds throws you into the best possible gear for power and switches to manual.

I have the same warning light in my dash in my S3. Its an issue with the front radar. Let me know when and if you get it fixed what it cost please. I was going to fix mine myself but havent had the time.

Nice man! I have the 24 S3 and legit use my adaptive cruise control every day. It is the best feature in the world haha. Took a while to trust but once when you do, you won’t go back.

I’ve never seen the magma red seats in these… I’ve only seen the black, the taupe/grey with red stitching, the black with red contrast stitching, and the latest one I’ve seen has these red accents on the shoulders. I’ve never seen the solid red magma red interior that you see in other Audis like the SQ5/S5 etc. that interior is popular and I look at these nationwide all the time, I’ve never seen red seats…

What's up with the sunroof, select option based on area? Can't seem to find it in any spec for the 2024. And no 360 camera option is a letdown for a $70k 2024. Plus them getting rid of the flat steering wheel.

How u got the red interior???

I can't get over just how baller this 2023 looks. Quite the improvement over the last gen it seems and that RS front grill is the bomb. When I test drove the 2019 RS3 back in June (I was this close to buying it) I noticed it took the corners very well and drove quite nicely in Comfort mode. It sounded great and hugged me in my seat really well. Car was quick and the cockpit was amazing. What I did notice was that the car had to be in Sport mode to feel fast though. I got it to go from a really well but had to really drill the throttle pretty hard. On the freeway I noticed it sat high and caught wind pretty easy which I was surprised about. I think the latest gen might sit lower then...

If you're in manual (paddle shifters) - and you want to go back to auto, you don't have to press the shifter knob down, you could hold the paddle either the + or - for a few seconds and it will go back to auto. I got the same year in Glacier White! Love the red leather!
