This video is very well done. As someone that played Duel Links since 2018. I can say that you explained everything very good and nothing was confusing.
Great overview of duel links! Ngl I didn’t expect the exodia pieces being asked a lot but it never hurts to cover your bases lol. If there’s a thing that I’d like point out for gem hoarders is always click on the special spots in all duel worlds to at least get a few gems. Fountain for the gate tab, street lamps for pvp tab, the ceiling of the main card shop for the shop tab, and trash can/box for duel studio tab. It ain’t much but it’s better to know about it than to never know at all.
@@cuchutrain It's much more than that as it resets every 5 hours or so, you can usually get 20~gems a day + the 5 from watching replay so on average nearly 175 per week

Also hold on a minute - is that you on the piano!? Because in another video, you played a variation on a DL theme with jazzy harmonies, that's gotta be self made
youre the only one thats noticed. its actually a mix of things. The bossa nova GX theme is just me on the piano + some FL studio processing. Most of the little jazz licks here and there are just quick recordings I did and threw in. This video is all just free youtube creator music though.

I only started doing these videos like 2 months ago, and this is the first video I've done of this style so I feel very fortunate at the 100 we're at now. Hopefully the videos keep getting better and people enjoy them.

I was a hardcore player back when this came out, and spent some money every now and then. I come back to the game because they are actually pretty generous with the events and dream tickets, and i can just run black wings even to this day. The only drawback, much like master duel and modern yugioh, i don’t recall a pvp match that lasted past turn 4, usually ending on turn 2 or 3
Really good video. I stopped playing duel links when pendulums were introduced. The game was so much fun back then... Probably wont be returning to the game, but its always nice to revel in nostalgia for a bit
@@glizzy2.O I watched a lot of Yugioh growing up too. But thanks to games like Duel links I learned how to work with the new mechanics. It is not that hard once you get used to it. I have the boomer mentality and try to create decks that uses old cards that may have synergy with the new ones 😅
I opened the game and 'hey I remember this from childhood' My word of advice stay away from PvP till your either caught up or at least know your deck well got up to gold rank something then started running into players with the latest cards and strong ASF decks then started going on a losing streak.😂 I'm over seeing one deck in particular tehchy deck whatever it's called Heroes deck doesn't stand a chance if going second😂

The sparkling dream tickets was truly the best we're truly the best back in the day it allowed you to get a character only card (side note character only cards are only unlocked though maxing out that character well most of them the reason being is because that single card was really good well most of them or allow to dominate on anyone) but u barely get a chance to get one anymore and I'm not really sure but I'm pretty sure it got nerfed so u can't anymore either that or it's been that long since anyone has gotten one
If you're just starting out I would recommend theblackwing deck it's easy to use and it'll get you through a lot of the beginning of the game super quick you'll be able to be just about anybody

Possibly, but it depends which build you decide to make. There's like a good 4-6 hero builds (though only maybe 2-3 of them are really viable on ladder). What kind of hero deck do you plan to make?
I would personally recommend warning point, but it depends on if you are fine with it being slower than book of moon or MST. It can kill a Pendulum deck's turn if you use it on their pendulum summon, and can also put a hard stop on certain other decks like trains or decks that use Rank-ups or Link climbing That said book of moon & MST are both great options.
@@jmonarch9907 I'd say Book is better to get, MST can be replaced by Cosmic Cyclone, which is now a F2P alternative/staple (with BOX Chips). There is no good alternative to Book Of Moon's flexibility.

3:19 hi I'm one of them my OG account was back when duel links first came out but I didn't save it and it's gone anyway I didn't know about this idk until in last few month idk exactly how many month but I think it was when this video was uploaded so yeah thx (also I didn't know a few more things that I learn from this video I'm super duper casual player that also collect anime char decks I like). Also I have question about box chips, how can collect/obtain them?
theres a couple ways. Box chips have been given away as some event rewards (like for completing parts of the Arc V story currently). They also sometimes come as part of bundle offers (get 17? packs of a box and some box chips). And at one point we had them as lifetime rewards, but I dont know if you can get those anymore.

Also I have another question, there are some structure deck in duel links that u can buy with gem for first time and after that u need spend irl money for it. I search for a few f2p deck to rank up a little and I found 2 deck one of them is ancient warriors that Im working on it to get cards from box and the second one is yubel/neos. The yubel/neos deck I need a one or two cards that only can be obtained front neos fusion structure deck. I never bought this structure deck and there is option for buy this structure deck limited 1 time for 1000 gem but the option is turned off and I can't buy it. Can you please explain to me and guide me? I would be greatful. (the card I need is neos fusion, same name as structure deck). Edit: oh btw, I watched ur videos for sometimes but I just checked it now and I saw I didn't subscribe to u, but I did it now ☺️

I started playing DL when it first came out ages ago and loved it… then I stopped for a loooonngggg time. Now I’m back at it after rewatching the OG series recently and I absolutely HATE the more “modern” aspects of the game. I definitely want legacy duels to be permanent cuz some of theee “modern” decks are just flat out OP… and it’s kinda unfair to those of us who just wanna duel the way it was originally intended. 😢 And no I’m not giving modern YGO a shot cuz I’m too loyal to Takahashi’s OG storyline, characters and the gameplay from that era.
If you a new player hmm I think speedroid deck will be good but if you like xyz summon just buy bundle of hope number 39 yuma and astral have a lot of op skills
protip: the reset box feature never works, the game always knows which is the only card that you want to pull out of the box and puts it in the very last pack at the very bottom, so this feature is completely pointless, unless you have godlike luck i guess. im assuming this might be rigged intentionally tho, the game obviously keeps track of all the most popular cards, so you can absolutely be sure that everything thats popular will always be at the bottom of every box, to make you buy as many gems with real money as possible, i mean you cant really blame them for it tho, you would probably do the same if you were them.
Yeah just wait a bit, theres a couple different sales (the current one is for when you spend actual money) but there half off gem sale will happen again in a little while
