Dividends are what got me into investing in the stock market. The thing to me is, if you invest and have other income outside of dividends then you will be able to live off dividends without selling. Which means you can pass that on to your kids which will give them a leg up in life. Have over $600K in my portfolio as I bought a lot of dividend stocks before, I'm buying more now, and I will buy more when it drops further
As a new investor it's always great to hear from a person who has gone through all the difficult times and come ahead of it. It's unnerving to see your portfolio go from green to red but as mentioned if you have invested in quality names just have to keep adding to them and stay the course
@@FeliciaJudge I see any market condition as an opportunity. So far I've made north of $260k in raw profits from just Q3 of 2022 under the guidance of my Financial-Advisor "Susan Agnes Hancock ". Am I selling? Absolutely not. I have purchased growth stocks too a little at a time over the past few weeks. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.

To earn 100k per month through dividend the answer is simple. Buy 200,,000 shares of SCC Semirara Corp current stock price 31.5 total investment 6.3M. SCC dividend is 21% per year P7 per share. 200,000 shares x 7=1,400,000. Less 10% withholding tax net= 1,260,000 per year divided by 12= 105,000. It takes 17 minutes for him to explain but he did not include SCC. And take note that SCC is included in the index and currently trading at 60% off. There is a popular saying: The more you talk the less you know.

You know, there are a lot of people pretending to be an expert but they are not. Stock market is fun. As long as you buy an undervalued stocks of a good company then your job is done.

You should never sell the stock that is providing you dividends. You can use your stock as collateral by taking a margin loan if you need cash. If you have enough shares, your dividends will pay your loan off.
Hi Sir Marvin, I have a question. Hope mapansin mo hehe. What if I buy stocks after ex dividend date when will I get dividends? I noticed that most of my target companies ex date is around March or April. If I buy today, which is July, 2023, it means I will not be entitled to dividends unless I hold the stocks til next year, like March or April 2024? Is that right? Or the ex dividend date changes yearly? Please enlighten me, first time investor here. Thank you!

I have two questions and they might be dumb: (1) Is there a website that publishes all dividend-paying stocks and their payout months? The OC in me really want for monthly digits to come through rather have one month with zero earnings and the next month with a really high payout. (2) Second question: is there a holdout period? Say, if I invest in June in a stock that pays every July, do I immediately earn dividend the following month, or do I wait for a certain amount of time? Thank you very much!

We are already in the big crash, Inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
