Thanks for this. Very useful to tips. Irrespective of number of years of being a SM, it suffice to say that each team is unique. So these tips are useful for new and experienced scrum masters as your team never remains the same for ever.

Hello Vhibor Thanks for these amazing and on-point tips. I'm looking for a coach, I believe every great professional is a result of accountability, and I'm looking for someone to be accountable to for my growth. I'm based in Edmonton and I'll more than like to connect with you. 🙏

Thanks for the valuable tips. What if the teams are matured but they don't accept that what they have been doing these days not only hinders their work but also increases the pressure on them to do more. How do I make them realise that and try to bring some improvements? Could you please give some tips?

Why don't you use relevant reports of thier performance and let them assess it first. Ask them questions how dp they want to improve it.then start strategising your ideas into it

So about being assertive, you mean to stand up and say when you think they are going outside the agile principles or boundaries “but” at the same time you can not “force” the team to accept your ideas? By the way if I google the word “assertive” in the dictionary it says : having or showing a confident and “forceful” personality. The word forceful confuses me. Any thoughts?

I look at being assertive as someone who is forceful through reasoning. Someone who has a compelling reason.

Hi Vibhor, amazing video! One question which I recently asked as a scrum master how to do motivate /coach mature agile team?? Any thoughts!!
@VibhorChandel
@VibhorChandel 2 года назад
Thanks Ruchi. You've asked an interesting question. A mature "Agile" team is one that doesn't require a Scrum Master or will soon be in a position to passively use Scrum Master's services as required. How I look at it is that if they're mature they are self motivated to do things and behave in a manner that is inherently Agile. There's a difference between a mature Agile team and an experienced Scrum team. The only way to motivate an experienced Scrum team is by helping them be on track with a particular process (Scrum) long enough so they start seeing value behind the process. This is easier said than done. The little trick that I employed long ago is by taking the most experienced member in the team into confidence and focusing on them so much so they become Agile champions. Once you win them, the rest will follow suit. Motivation follows Discipline and Discipline follows Practice.

@@VibhorChandel thanks Vibgyor very well explained. Can’t stop my thoughts and that led me to ask one more follow up questions - what does it look like / or what do you see in a team to say it’s Agile team 🤔?
