Thank you so much for your reply. I am 81 years young and finally gave up making garlands because it was two complicated to connect them with ribbon or fishing line. I am doing a garland this weekend for a friend’s 90th birthday. Thank you

I'm so happy I came across your channel! I've made (attempted) several balloon garlands, and let's just say I was quickly humbled, LOL! Watching your videos has me so much more confident that I can execute one the proper way. You've given GREAT techniques. I'm going to practice on these random predict balloons I have here. And I LOVE the rubberband method! So much better than GLUE DOTS! That alone ought to tell you the balloon tragedies I've created, LOL! Thank you for being an awesome teacher❤

Hi Loraine, thank you! You got this! The goal is to just keep going. I have not taken any balloon classes in the 4 yrs that I've been doing this. I've learned a lot from watching tutorials on here and just kept practicing and perfecting my craft. It's art, so you can be as creative as you like and probably come up with come new ideas that others will gravitate to.

That's fine. Work with what you got. If you got the kits, you will need more than one kit to get the look they advertised.

This is by far the best video I have seen. Thanks so much for sharing. I’m self taught but I have always used the fishing wire but this looks easier and faster.

Thank you. The fishing wire was a straight " no " for me, so kudos 👏 to you for even mastering it. This is definitely a faster and easier method and gives the flexibility to manipulate the garland to your liking.

How long will the balloons last? Trying hard to use your method of connecting the balloons. it is so much easier but takes practice.

Hello. Indoors with the decomex brand 30+ days. I'm not sure about other brands. Outdoors will depend on the climate, so I can't really say. I've gone back days after a setup, and balloons are still in tact

Great video!!❤ When I split my balloons in half to create clusters, they deflate sometimes. Have you ever experienced this?1

Thank you. Yes, I've experienced that as well when i first started. You have to ensure that when you are splitting the balloon, all the air is removed from the middle and pushed to the sides. Once that is completed, you then have to twist at least 4 times to tighten the middle. When interlocking, you also need to interlock 3 or more times to tighten the cluster. This will prevent unraveling. Hope this helps.

Food for thought. Price you garland to include commercial grade balloons. Don't let your clients purchase balloons. I only work with my own balloons to guarantee quality work.
