You are truly so thorough with your videos and explanation of things! I’ve been binge watching all of your wonderful and helpful videos. Literally as soon as I ask a question to myself as I’m watching a video, you end up always answering them right after and/or throughout it. It’s so great and you and your videos are definitely much appreciated!
So excited to try this method thank you so much!!! An idea for the tape being too sticky you could take a smaller piece of tape and stick both the sticky sides together, and juat leave the ends out to stick to the face :)
Yes! I've tried that too and it works just have to make sure the tape is taped down real good or the extensions will come out but definitely the safest way to go about it.
OMGG I could not figure out what was going on with my retention lately!!!!! I even changed my adhesive.. lol. I would’ve never thought it was the mask!! I’m sooo glad I came across this video. Thank you for this!!
I loved loved this explanation I’m a beginner and tomorrow I have a wispy hybrid set and kept looking for a step by step video on TikTok and decided that maybe RU-vid would help and this one was the best video! Thank you💗
Oh my goodness. I was so afraid of lashing in layers, but you really explained it well that I now don't understand why I didn't start doing it in the first place!! Thank you thank you; you are my FAVORITE lash artist/instructor.
I just want to thank you for this. I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and today I tried this trick and let me tell you ….AMAZING! It helped me so much! I’ve never been more proud of a set. 💜
Love the way you explain everything but most importantly how show every step that you are doing. I have watched many videos and by far like yours best because you explain what sizes go in every layer and I gave this a try and this is a life changer.
Just do a regular fill. This will not work for a fill only for a full set. I have a taping methods video and in that video I show how I do my fills using tape. Go check it out.
Omg Amazingggg, I'm trying this method next time for sure! But I have question, if you were doing a regular hybrid set, you would do your first layers volume fans or classics or both ?
You are so amazing !!!! I’ve been having bad retention and trouble with isolation and I seriously can’t wait to do my next set I’m defiantly taking the time to do this method ! But can you possible to do this method with a fill ? Or how would you lash in layers if they already have lashes 😊
Just started watching your videos and you are bomb girl. You make it look so easy. Omg the inner corners are hard, I’m a beginner and I am struggling. It makes me wanna throw away my tweezers. I tried doing my nieces eyelash extensions yesterday and poor thing, it was hard and mad me really double think if I wanna do this. I also struggle with the gel pads sticking, so I just used mocropore tape and omg bad idea it got really taped to her skin, I felt bad. I’ve used microfoam tape before and she was ok when I did her lashes the first time. I take 3 hours to do a set (classic/Hubrid), I feel like if I take forever, I’m not gonna lie I don’t put an extension on every lash. I don’t wanna quit, I am a nail tech, I am good with my hands. I love to create stuff and I would love to create beautiful lash sets and be proud.
I have a taping video that I pretty much show hot to lash inner corner effortlessly. Check it out. That method helped me out and I know it'll do the same for you 😘
hi! you're seriously my role model for lashing girl, you're amazing. when I lash in layers, I seem to have difficulty only pulling out the first layer? it seems like more than one layer always comes out. any tips on that?
Woow! Such a beautiful set! I love how simple the mapping is yet how intricate the final result seemed! You are so talented!! Also, what do you use for the spikes? I don't really understand what they are. Are they classics or volume lashes? And the longer lengths you wrote on your mapping are the ones you used for the spikes? Thank you
I recommend to go watch my other whispy videos I explain in detail what I mean by spikes. And I'm pretty sure I explained in this video what I mean by "spikes" it's real simple. They are volume lashes that aren't fanned out. And yes the spikes will always be the longer lengths that's why I call them spikes. Check out my other whispy videos so it can make more sense.
This video is so informative. Thank you so much I have just started my lash journey and this has helped so much. Can I ask what length you used for the fans ?
Aww thanks babe! I have another lash in layers video where I go in detail as well. Make sure to check it out so you can get a better idea. Lmk how it works out for you 😘
Love your videos very much! Very helpful! What kind of tape did you use to hold the finished lashes in place before move on to the next layer? Thank you❤
Hey babe! I’m a Newly certified lash tech and was wondering for just a hybrid set not wispy how what lashes do you put on the first, second and bottom layer ? Pls I would love to know🤍
@@YoyisLashBeauty It is difficult to make fans, with the easy assembly or self-flowering I see that it is easier! and the pre-armed ones too, thanks friend 🤗
I didn't count how many spikes I used for each section just because I wanted the first row to be all spikes but since I noticed that it was too many lashes I ended up just adding Classics in between period you can eyeball it and see what would work better for you . I would say about three to four spikes in each section. That's normally what I do but like I said I didn't count this time around just because I was more focused on just lashing the first layer with spikes but then I ended up noticing that it was too many so I ended up adding classics. But thank you for asking I didn't really think about it . But hopefully this helps.
I am a beginner lash artist and I am so thankful for your videos they are so helpful!! You are literally the nicest 😭 I have a question, are the spikes classic lashes (.15)? And how many lashes for a spike? If you or anyone can answer please let me know I would appreciate it!
aww thanks hun! so in the video I did explain how I made my spikes. I went in on the first layer with volume lashes that aren't fanned out and just placed on the lash and the I went in with shorter classic lashes to fill in the left over lashes.
If you want the spikes to show yes. But I do have another whsipy video where put spikes in every layer to make it extra whispy. But normally yes I add spikes on the first layer so they stand out. For this certain set that's how I did it but you can add whatever you want on the layers. Everyone lashes differently and there is no right or wrong way to go about it. So just have fun with it do whatever you want. But this certain style that's how I did it's an example you can follow along or switch it up.
I believe I have another hybrids video that isn't whispy and I go more in depth in that video. But me personally I like to to do volume on the last row and classics on the first 2. But if you want more of a fuller set then next time around. There is no right or wrong way on how to do this I guess it just depends on how light or how full your trying to go. The reason why I like to add my fans at the bottom is because it looks more put together. If you are to go in with classics at the bottom it will look a little more textured cuz you'll be able to see the single lashes at the bottom prepared to put in the fence at the bottom it'll look more put together and blended. But like I said you can do whatever you like. Just have fun with it. 😘
I was so curious as to how people make their sets so wispy but then after watching this video, I realized my teacher taught us to only use 5-7 spikes per eye throughout their eye instead of like how you did it. So mine always turn out funky. I'm gonna have to try your method.
What exact sizes are you using for each layers? I’m asking because I want to remake this look on my practicedoll. I want to get the same trays 🤩😍 this is literally my FAV.
I use the same lengths as its written on the map. No difference in lengths in layers. So just follow the map and you'll be fine. The longer lenghts are for the spikes and smaller numbers is what you'll use to fill it in.
Do you think it matters if we do spikes & classics first layer, fans 2nd layer, & classics last? (Do the order in the steps matter) thanks babe! Wanted to switch up the 2nd and third layer only because some clients may not have many rows, I rather get in fans before classics? If I make sense lol
You can do whatever you'd like hun. There is no right or wrong way of doing it. I do it this way because it looks more put together and blended. The volume fans have more coverage so they make the set look put together. If I were to put classics on the bottom layer it would look textured and you'll see those classic lashes pocking out at the bottom. At least for me I like how put together it looks with the fans at the bottom. If that makes sense.
Yes. I mentioned it in my video and I also have it in the description box the lash map and products I used. So next time you can easily find it if your wondering. 😊 I don't use easy fans they are really hard to use since I learned how to make fans the hard way so I hand make my own fans.
Aww thanks babe. Good luck on your lash journey wish you nothing but the best. Me personally I learned the hard way to do fans. Easy fan lashes work around when I started so now that I've tried to use them I hate them period and all honesty LOL I can't seem to get over the fact that they are already glued together at the bottom and I can't send them out more. I'm just so used to pinching my own fans and making them to my liking that with easy fan I have no control over and that's probably why I don't like them . But don't let my opinion hold you back from trying them out. Maybe they will work for you
Loved watching this! You shared so many great tips. What length did you use for the bottom layer of lashes? was it the same length all the way through?
GRACIASSSSSS NO TE ENTIENDO NADA POR QUE NO HABLÓ INGLES PERO ESTA ES LA MEJOR TECNICA LA PONDRE EN PRACTICA, ESTOY EMPEZANDO COMO LASHISTA SALUDOS DESDE COLOMBIA
If you want to use the tape back method and want to avoid getting the lashes stuck on the tape, take some of the Nex Care tape and lay the sticky side in the middle of the white tape’s sticky side. Then the soft side of the blue tape will be against the lash hairs while the white tape ends stick to the skin.
Hello, i have a problem 🤕 just accidently rubbed my new dress in lash extensions glue and its really hard, tried to wash it with everythink but it doesnt come off... Have you experienced this and is it possible to remove it somehow?
So basically, your top layer is spikes, middle layer are classics & 3rd bottom layer are fans right? Also, do you refrain from placing the spikes on the small short lashes? Since usually the top layer has very fine small lashes
For this set is particular yes that's how I did it. I do have other whispy videos and they are all different. But since this one is lashing in layers I wanted to make it as simple and easy to follow. And yes I don't place spikes on baby lashes. Ive never noticed top layer has very fine lashes. Most my clients have strong thick lashes even on the first layer so I can't say that's true. This girl in the video overall had small thin lashes compared two most girls that I Lash. But I've never seen anyone have just the top layer with very fine small lashes.
