How to EASILY add CHEAP Storage to your Steam Deck 

This is perfect advice! Only downfall is that you can't charge while playing with this. I went with the Minix Neo Storage as it has a USB-C power pass through, along with HDMI and a couple USBs which is handy for on the go docking!

Nice idea! The only problem I see here, is the strain on the USB-C port of the Steam Deck, given from the bended and very strong in structure cable.

Neat advice but unfortunately those drives aren't to cheap here, maybe because I'm in Canada? Not to expensive either but a good idea like this should be recognized! Nicely done👌😎 I actually ripped out a 750gb 2.5 inch laptop drive from my old laptop years ago (it broke, so I salvaged some parts). I also have another 500gb 3.5 inch drive but need another external case for it and not sure if it's a dead HDD or it was just my sata cable, either way I'll find out. Otherwise for me personally, most my games being older are smaller. So I'm just going to get a decent 5tb external HDD and a 1tb micro SD. My son got me some newer games and oh my are they big lmao. Biggest game I have is Arma 3😹 I'm still mind blown by the steam deck though. Best gift from my son ever! Complete surprise too🤯. I can Morrowind on the go now or other games. So amazing. I even decided to use it for my own pc and set up my own dock. The steam deck community is also pretty wholesome so far. My wife and daughter don't like linux though, so the desktop will remain in the office but I'm no longer interested playing games on it😅

I actually don't like the idea of this unless it's docked. Very cool, but think I'll stick with my 1tb sd card

Hello my friend, I have a problem. I bought a m.2 1tp. When I install the OS on the steam deck, the image freezes. It is new. When I put it on USB C, then I put it on the steam deck from the outside, it disconnects by itself.

can u put crucial x6 on the 64gb steamdeck when u have not loaded anything

How did u get it to auto mount like that I have to go to desktop mode every time then go back to gamemode

Could you check how many W (Watts) of energy does the drive need from the steam deck?

I have to go the desk top and then back to regular steam and it shows up. Any idea why?

Auto mount my external ssd but it messed up with micro sd,my steam games turned in to Others file and i dont have access on it but emulated games on emudeck which i also store on micro sd i still have access.Any idea why this happen?
