As a young adult renting the first apartment, this video is very helpful. I saw another one that suggested only revealing the adhesive on the 3 inches at each edge of the contact paper. That video seemed like cutting corners to me. I like this one a lot better!

I had been putting off using contact paper for (I'm not even kidding) years on a nightstand that had lost some of the coating because every time I used it, there would be bubbles or it would roll back up on me and it just became too much of a hassle. I used a squeegee (didn't have a ruler like that lol) and your instruction worked like a charm. Thank you so much ♥

Buy wallpaper. It's thick and very washable. Many design and colors to select from. The raw I just bought for my new place was only $10 I will have enough for all my cupboards drawers bathroom and kitchen and even my dresser drawers. 10 bucks can't beat it.
