How to EASILY Beat Dendro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact - Free to Play Friendly!

In this video, I beat Dendro Hypostasis without getting hit.
The Dendro Hypostasis is a boss that was introduced in Genshin Impact's 3.2 update. The Dendro Hypostasis can be found underneath the waypoint south of Dar al-Shifa and accessed by the associated tunnel. Dendro Hypostasis is, as a whole, an incredibly simple boss. The only thing that needs to be said is to keep a fair distance away from it to avoid nearly every attack, and to react by dashing nearly every other attack. Pyro, Dendro, and Electro units are recommended for this fight, as one of the Dendro Hypostasis's moves requires a Pyro unit to avoid, and its revive phase requires a Dendro and Electro unit to finish.

(Doesn't matter who you use for DPS just don't use Dendro since it's immune)
RECOMMENDED UNITS:
Amber (Amazing DPS + Ranged + Pyro)
Lisa (Electro)
Collei (Dendro)
Xiangling (Insane DPS + Pyro)
Kujou Sara (Great Support + Electro)
Bennett (Great Support + Pyro)
Yoimiya (Great damage + Ranged + Pyro)
Diluc (Great Damage + Pyro)
Yae Miko (Great Damage + Electro)
MAYBE DON'T BRING THESE UNITS:
Dendro for DPS. Otherwise use whoever you want, have fun.
I beat my first Dendro Hypostasis at AR50.

Dendro hypostasis is... interesting. Do anyone notice that unlike other hypostasis, when defeated, it does not do an explosive animation. Instead, it is just calmed, and just dissapear. Or is it just me?

You can use a water character to attack the boss during the last phase to set off bloom to get through it. It takes longer but doable.

You can stop the attack phase when it jumps if you use pyro attack on it

One more thing when he is in the form of bomb you can interrupt it by hitting him by pyro it won’t do 3 jumps… he’ll stop and you can continue doing dmg

If you use Collei (or tighnari) with Shinobu, it'll definitely will help you get that 2nd achievement. This is because of Shinobu's AoE electric ring around surrounds her for a certain amount of time. Plus, you can switch characters while using her AoE. Have a character with a strong shield to protect the dendro character.

So the way I see it, Pyro is the way to go if you wanna fight the Dendro Cube... That means that now there are 3 Cubes that Pyro is powerful against... Cryo, Elektro and now Dendro as well

Great tutorial as always! My unit of choice for this boss fight is Yae Miko; she makes this fight stupidly easy. And if you have Nahida, she's the best dendro unit to complement Yae; else Collei. Point being is with these units, other than some minor dodging, you can just sit back and leave Yae's totems to do all the work.

When it jumping around, you can apply pyro to it. You will gain an achievement. Also it will stop jumping

extra tip to deal even more damage: hit it with pyro and then with electro to add spread/aggravate and overload reactions which would deal a whole lot more damage and save you much more time. good luck!

I find it weird that I need to bring dendro for a fight against DENDRO Hypo In the Abyss, I usually now run Tighnari with Fischl as one of my teams but Tighnari doesn't do any damage for 99% of the fight which is a big damage loss Any recommendation? Possibly F2P, I don't have Raiden

Bloom reactions won't work, since they all deal dendro DMG and dendro hypostasis is immune to it.

I just did this boss in co-op. I don’t think either of use knew we needed a Dendro character beforehand. I had to step out of the ring to swap for Collei just so we could defeat it. Luckily I already had an electro character on my team. This is why I like doing research on bosses before fighting them ^^”

Oh yeah there a trick i did! I use kazuha is burst with pyro while the cube try to absorb it, since burn them the cube stay sturd by doing that, i beating like 2 time by it

I had my usual party Aether Diluc Noelle Xianling I clapped the boss ,but then that damm revive phase where I couldn't do anything started 😤 and that's how it brought me here ,and now I'm being forced to use Lisa of all characters

Fighting the boss is really easy, but actually "killing it" is another story. It's well explained how to kill it, and it keeps healing. That's why I'm here ;) Thanks for the tips: use Dendro then Eletric on the little things.

first time I encountered this boss, I had a Cryo team. Had to restart. It was at Floor 11 of Spiral Abyss, did not know the boss is there. lol anyway, good work to the video creator on the guide. Really showed it's easy to beat the boss with the right characters.

@@phosyphos5192 I switched teams around. Ganyu cryo team handles the first part, then Lumine dendro team handle the second part - the dendro team has Yanfei just for this boss. The boss is very easy once you know how to deal with it. I burned it to stop the jumping, light up the three pillars with dendro, then electrocuted it with Yae.

The boss can deactivate the pylons btw, so you need to run back to reactivate with dendro.

You need to hit the pylon with dendro first, then use Lisa. So long as the thing is hit by dendro, you will gain meter at the top

Might be easy, but it's my new most hated Cube right now when the previous title was the Anemo one. Why? Simple! You are forced to use a certain unit to beat it. Anemo might be annoying with a forced revive even after being beaten, but at least I can beat it with auto attacks and it will be dead. If I don't bring an Dendro to this fight, I'm just wasting time.
