Thunder Manifestion, or Electro Oceanid, is a fairly simple fight once you understand what it can do. The opening sequence of the fight can be entirely avoided just by standing in its tracking circles and causing it to become enraged. If you decide not to immediate enrage it, after dealing around 20-25% of its HP in damage, it will release a massive electro burst that requires decent timing to dodge. You can also Ulti through it as well. Otherwise, the fight is very straightforward as nothing changes past the enraged phase. All of its moves are fairly simple to dodge and there are no invulnerability phases at all.

Pyro is pretty nice for this.

Yanfei (High Damage)
Xinyan (High Damage)
Ningguang (Great Damage + Shields)

Kazuha (Great Damage + Support)
Yoimiya (Great Damage + Ranged)

holy shit this boss is annoying. using hu tao/xiao still can't find a window where i could hit it with decent amount of attacks, since the boss always swinging away across the map. I guess I'll make use of geo traveler again.

I know it’s so annoying I tried tartaglia amber Kokomi and rosaria to get it but the hydros did immune and I mainly soloed it with rosaria bc my amber was dying a lot my rosaria nearly died 5 times during this boss

Pyro/cryo dps. Use shield characters if needed. Sample team is yanfei/bennet/noelle/flex Yanfei will be your dps here. If you would prefer other elements, mlyou might want to use another pyro on the flex for resonance

Anyone that sets off either superconduct or overload from a distance. Crystallize if you're ballsy. So Amber, Yanfei, Yoimiya, Ganyu, Diona, maybe NingGuang.

Not sure if it is the world level but it keeps absolutely draining my stamina. I barely beat it but it hits me because I simply can't outrun his nonsense.

If you haven't gotten all of the Geoculi and Anemoculi then I recommend you get that done. You should have a max of 240 stamina. Otherwise, World Level has nothing to do with enemy attack patterns or stamina consumption

@@SunWeiC I got all the oculi. I just had to learn to better manage my stamina. I just realized I wasted too much. Also fighting with Ningguang and Noelle makes it easy with her crystalize effect absorbs most of its damage anyways except the tracking beam.

It’s rage mode is definitely reprogrammed since this video, there is a mechanic where it seems to be slower until you switch to either your DPS or your weakest character on the team. It also cuts the ‘CD’ of its attacks. What I mean by this is that it has the ability to cancel the charging up of its attacks, so you’ll think you have 2 seconds to either shield up or move out of the AoE of the coming attack, but it will attack instantly before its even charged the attack. For instance, you’ll be running from the rotating square and the arrows it fires off but then before those two attacks are even finished, it teleports to you and swipes you. It also can stack its attacks weirdly

Lol looking back this doesn't feel like a month ago. It feels much much longer ago.. Update. I was grinding quests and challenges for Primos so that I can wish for wanderer..or any 5 star really to help improve my game. I suffered more than 3 days trying to beat the thunder manifestation and I finally did. I lost to Diluc but kept working through Raiden and Ayato Banners and I decided to wait for Alhaitham. If you're fighting this beast for the first time. Bring cryo and dendro. Dendro Bow character will make quick work of it from a safe distance or Alhaitham in a shield with some electro will also spread this bird back to its cage. It's become to so easy to beat this bird. It gets easier. Bring a healer too because it cheats

Good thing it doesn't spawn mimics. Atleast when you've fought it a few times, you'll have familiarized with its attack patterns. The og oceanid is literally so annoying, with all those squirrels and birds. Haven't built Noelle properly but I have to use her for her shield because of them://

Same duh,I ended up leveling Noelle,cuz I don't have zl and diona,and Noelle's shield is pretty good,she has 2.7 k defend and managed to withstand 5 out of 6 azdaha's stepping attack

I use a C6 Ningguan to fight this entire fight and never swap out ... She is LITERALLY THE BEST character for this. Barely even have to move unless it deploys the square. Absolutely insane how easily she demos this little bird... Just her normal and charged attacks force this thunder chicken to constantly drop crystalized shields right on top of her or within a few steps, so throughout the entire fight, she has a constant supply of shields. And unlike Traveler, NO Cooldown on Geo Powers. No one beats her.

omg I finally beat it!!! I used mainly xiangling, kaeya, + Bennett (for healing) using your tips about just following it & throwing Guoba. Chongyun was also on my team but he died and I wasn't able to revive him. I used a LOT of food!!!

I mostly have anemo and electro characters, so when I saw this boss I genuinely thought I would need to level up someone to deal with this. Geo traveler never even crossed my mind, so thank you for that. Just had to talent up and upgrade a geo damage goblet. Also, Xianling isn't very good at this one, because when I tried using her, it was just me trying to run after the damn thing constantly to catch up. When I used my abilities it would immediately dash away, wasting most of my damage. You want someone with range so that you can save your stamina to dodge, instead of running after the boss to try and catch it. Of course, if your damage is high enough you can just make it explode before it can run...

I'm F2P, I usually use Chongyun C0, Ayaka C0, Diona C5 and Klee C0 against all electro monsters and it works perfectly. Currently doing the warding spell quest in order to unlock Thunder Manifestation so i can lvl up my Raiden.

i was using Gan yu on the boss but the constant dodging by the boss made the fight very long, so i switched to Eula and i find her Q burst took out a large chunk of the HP.. more then half.. so i keep using Eula.

it's very useful to point out that 2 pyro + 2 geo is best team up again this thing Genshin 4.3 definitely update its mech, now it moves a lot than before, skill with some delay ICD cannot touch it, even character with catalyst hard to touch it. The best characters to fight it is non-eclectro archery Important: because you will turn a lot, so playing on pc will be a lot easier

Ok I fought this thing for the seirei stormchasers quest to be able to play the specter event and I found the fight extremely easy, so I wonder if it was due to being part of a quest and eventually in the over world get more tanky or is that easy? I recall that I used resin to claim rewards so is probably this easy.

Geo Aether solo-ing the whole fight reminds me of when I was doing the last part of Aranyaka and had to beat Marana. His kit was adjusted automatically but his element wasn't. Not only that, my internet connection died at the very end of the cutscene and my progress wasn't saved so I had to beat Marana with geo Aether twice 💀

I'm a Beidou Lvl.60 main, my Thunder Manifestation is lvl.50 and I have few pyro characters, my Xiangling is lvl.56 but I don't really have good artifacts so she's kinda weak compared to Beidou, the other Pyro characters I have, Bennet and Amber are lvl 1 and 33 🤡 I'll come back later

Huh... that indeed looked very easy. I guess I'll see how it goes with Ningguang, Noelle, Diluc and Xiangling. EDIT: Well, I died. All of them died. Several times. Either your lvl 83 thunder manifestation is weak while mine at lvl 90 is really strong or I suck dodging with my stacked both lvl 81 Diluc and Ningguang (which are two of my best characters). EDIT2: Nah, it's just crazy strong.

I started using my lvl 50 diluc with my lvl 60 bennett against this boss and i can say it's actually slightly more easier than using keqing, i main keqing i have her on lvl 80 and she's physical keqing and it's so hard to not use your skill and burst :(

Since most of my pyro characters is 50% halfway upgraded. I ended up using physical raiden with congyun and kaeya 💀 it's less harder now.

For you guys wondering who to use if the team comp that he used doesn’t work, I beat it first try with under-level characters using xiangling, Noelle, diluc, and kuki shinobu. Try to go for a full pyro team because you can easily beat it

Sword of Narzissenkreuz. In later videos I use the Sword of Narzissenkreuz because it is permanently available to all players to get, unlike this particular event weapon. The only pain point is that it requires you to have access to Fontaine and it also requires the completion of a rather long (and frankly poorly written) chain of world quests that seem largely unrelated up until the end. I estimate that the Sword of Narzissenkreuz will take most players around 5-6 hours of straight questing to get done since you cannot skip dialogue and because there are just that many quests in the chain to complete. Aside from that, the Sword of Narzissenkreuz provides only about a 10-15% damage loss over the event weapon which isn't half bad.

I like to leave passive damage: Mona & Xiangling(turret + BASED god for DPS + reactions) Yanfei(extra damage, overload) Ayaka(main DPS and frozen w/ Mona) I'll swap Ayaka out for Ningguang sometimes because I like dropping the curtain on bat face lol

This is an absolute cake walk for ranged Pyro DPS characters like Amber, Yan Fei and Yoimiya. Cryo is also viable like Eula and Ganyu

ok so idk how many people will actually use this team comp but I used lvl 80 Noelle c0, lvl 60 Kaeya c0, Xiangling c1, and Diluc c0. Overpowered is super easing to trigger and it only took be a couple minutes without their bursts.

That's the rage bar. You'll see that when I'm standing in the circles in the beginning of the fight on purpose, that the bar is filling up. We want to voluntarily fill it up because it removes an invincibility phase (if you damage it to 75% health before rage it will go invincible and deal a massive aoe attack) and also because it gives us this easy attack pattern

My Ningguang can easily destroy this thing but if I have her on field for too long unshielded she will just die. So what I usually do is put noelle's shield up, go off on it for 12 seconds until the shield ends, switch back to Noelle, stall until her shield is ready again.
