Think about it like priority First priority is red room touching regular rooms on all sides Second priority stair case Third priority banana But it will usually never touch a room that’s touching a secret room. That’s why staircase on first room doesn’t apply. Hope it helps
This is a follow-up video to my more thorough ultra secret room guide. One of the horseshoes is invalid since it includes a boss room (red rooms can't spawn touching boss rooms, meaning an ultra secret room can't be there) But yes! It was a 50/50 on the staircase and horseshoe, this method isn't as reliable but is much easier to remember :)
I don't know how much they changed in new games, but when I played (Which is like 6-8 years ago I think) general rule I used to follow is secret room is connected to most other rooms and super secret room is connected to least amount of rooms and usually the furthest if there're several in a row Sometimes it didn't work first try since there could've been several of such spots, but I don't remember not finding either of rooms once and I have over 50 hours in isaac rebirth
To be honest, i was guessing in unison and noticed this, in the second example it could have been in two places at thw same time and the Logic you used to find it would have also suggested this, it was a Fifty/Fifty.
..but the other two examples we're spotless. A shame that in basically every Floor I have (with a few exceptions of course) the patterns don't show a clear winner and it's almost always MINIMUM a 50/50, and often a 33/33/33.
these have always been in the game and to access them you have to unlock red key by picking up the red key from a purple chest at Home which is a the beast ending route, after grabbing the key you can also go back into the hallway and use the red key near a red outline on a wall to unlock an alt character
@@Yharien You unlock the red key from opening moms chest in the home floor. you get it guaranteed from moms chest the first time you open it. the red key can open the room to unlock a tainted character.
