If you're reading this and you've never bought an Evo Sounds sound pack before.. trust me it is the bomb. Really speeds things up and works as advertised. Just remember when mixing, to turn off reverbs and delays in your Serum and replace them with your own reverb and delay (sends or busses).. learnt this from Shifu himself..

Never bought an Evo pack, but I will once I have time for producing!! And Ive seen packs where they doubled all presets and included a "dry" version without reverb and delay... for the pros who use their own effects right away. Makes sense to me.

Sup, I never buy sample packs, ever (or anything lol). I usually just watch the tutorials. Anyways I spent some pocket change (literally) and yep it has really good sounds in it. They are all ready to place in the mix, already full of harmonics, saturated, compressed, etc. As an artist who knows what he's producing & doesn't really mess around in the synthesizers this is a really good investment. Saves me time & allows me to quickly progress with my tracks instead of messing with a sylenth1 bass for an hour for it to sound meh. Thx dude, good stuff.

But in all honesty, I never learned music theory. I love. literally just rely on my ears. to tell me. where the note should go. Plus also after doing. this counterproductive method. of writing. I started to learn. how to hear. things that need to be added to make stuff more melodic or build tension. But I'm sure I could have learned that stuff Literally 100 times faster. I thought I actually made myself learn piano.
