Hi and thanks for the tutorial. FYI: Using a dual monitor setup you can resize your window to leave the sidebar out in the second monitor, and, if you increase the width even more you can also leave google earth watermark out :)
Well that was really bizarre. I'm working on a video about Biosphere 2 and I wanted to do a zoom in effect with Google Earth, so I searched it up and found your video. Only to find you did a tutorial on how to do a google earth zoom effect for biosphere 2 lol. Doesn't get more relevant than that! Thanks for the help!
Haha that's too funny. Not sure if you're putting it on RU-vid, but I'd love to see the video when it's finished. I just visited Biosphere 2 a couple weeks ago.
@@swampviewcrew Just finished editing and uploading it now! We just went last weekend and it was great. But there's a lot that was closed off so we'll definitely be going back when it's back to normal. Cheers from a fellow Tucson local videographer/creative!
I've used the GE Pro zoom effect before, recording with GEP, but this made everything much clearer and simpler. I was able to use it immediately to create an intro to a real estate video. Thanks so much.
Dude I'm in tucson too! Thanks for this tutorial. The client really stressed that the video I'm editing needs to establish at the beginning that the event that was filmed takes place in LA so I figured I start with a globe zoom effect.
Great tutorial. However, I have an issue. I cannot remove the place label in a white box with arrow that appears during the animation. I think I have all labels turned off, but this one persist. Any suggestions?
Good information, thanks! This will help me for an opening idea I had for a series of Scuba videos I'm putting together for this summer. Now I have to check out your other videos. So, a little off topic but, did you get your glasses off Firmoo? I swear I have the same ones. Thanks again and good luck with your channel.
Thank Tony, it is all fine but how can we get rid up the pop-up window "direction from - direction to" when we double click on the set location? Without that it cannot really be used in video editing...
I had the same problem, only way I've found to solve this is to use your arrow keys and enter to select the start or end point. Everytime I used the mouse the "directions from - directions to" flag came up.
nice...sir did youever tried posting infacebookusing google earth studio clips withlogo watermark and what meta said about it?did got alert or copyrighted it ?thank you..
I. HAVE A QUESTION .... I want to use a similar Earth Video Clip going from one place to another....however I dont have a computer and use my Android phone instead...am I ok to screen record the video clip moving from one point to another ..(Ive cropped the video to make the window smaller - to better focus on the area) ...Q.) Will I be able to use this on my youtube video I am making without copyright being an issue...if I do need to address the copyright for using the video clip how do i go about doing this on my mobile phone..? Many thanks 🙏
Great video for learning, got right to the point, even though I’m practicing to have more patience in my life😂. I could not record from Quick Time 🤷🏾♂️ though. Thanks a lot.
Hello im working for a company in Switzerland, we would like to have the zoom in Switzerland but showing 4 locations across the country is this possible ? Thanks
Hi my English not the best maybe you said it but I didn't understood But how about the license for using google earth pictures? Is it allowed to use it in videos?
I am doing this on my 2019 MacBook Pro and the zoom in and out is smooth as butter but when I record with Quicktime there are some frame drops and it looks janky as hell. I have tried multiple times and even slowed the zoom WAY down but it still stutters. Any advice?
Yes, absolutely. You'll just need to click on each waypoint. Then in your editing software you can cut out what you need to. That's how I made this sequence ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OL-1Fv0Tj_Q.html
Great video for beginners using zoom !! Thank you. Question: When I zoom between my start and end points, a little white box pops up on the screen which says " end point at Sheahan. Directions To here - From here. I have not named by beginning and end points as you instructed. I cannot find a method to avoid having this appear. BTW-using Windows 10. Thank you very much. James.
ok so found a solution, don't click on the map to create an end point, just zoom out and then click the place mark icon on the toolbar when you are happy with the starting point. This way there's no two location reference so the box doesn't appear.
I'm on google earth pro right now, and the left side looks NOTHING like your screen capture video. Please update this tutorial for current google earth.
How do you get rid of the silly info box that pops up on the top right? I never had this issue before. I have Info Box turned off for by Start and End places. Thanks/
