Me beeing patiant setting up a slow push kiting the enemy make em lose farm. My mage supp lets waveclear the low minions with this huge aoe spell. Ruining my Farm, my gameplan and then complain why i dont get something done.
No one would doubt you get stupid support. The whole point is enemy supp is just as bad. So if you are consistently better than enemy adc you will climb
@FyreWanderer I feel this so much. I hate when the supports think that constantly crashing waves = win condition. When realistically, if they just let you freeze wave, while you're ahead, you can deny them farm.
@@henrique83747 ADC is made for team fights (which never happen in a good way in low elo) and objectives. They'll always suck at 1v1s and skirmishes. Not to mention, being in the jungle is a death sentence because it's hard to use your ranged advantage.
6:03 this happens so often. After we won bot, I ping lets do fast drake (as long they are dead) but my jgl decide, to go for everything but not the drake. After enemy team respawned he decides to make drake and dies. Idk why this happens so often.
@@jinzala Ok, I will explain. Just like you don't know certain concepts which holds you from climbing up, they don't know the concept of tempo which holds them from climbing up.
@@LuckyGnom sure, but if you try to communicate with your team and they won't listen has nothing to do with concepts. If someone pings me or communicate their action to me I listen instead blindly doing my own thing. In low elo people communicate less, but if they want to flame that's another story. My point is that many people play lol in low elo as a solo game instead of team game.
@@jinzala They are told by coaches, youtubers, and this channel to not listen their team to climb. So they don't. And you can add the ego "my team is trash, my play/call was perfect and they didn't follow ME", and then you have it: hell.
@@justarandomguy8942 Yes, then you see them pushing solo lanes at 20 min. I am covinced plat supports are 10 times better. D4 and d3 is full with boosted accounts.
Definitely. Most important is to follow the tip from the Samira example. Zeri scales really well so you want to allow yourself to scale instead of coin flipping with your teammates.
I was 16/2 yesterday as kai'sa adc , I just got 2 inhibitors and died , and our talon goes into theyre base after both inhibs are gone and no teammates left and died 1v5 and complains that he can't carry so I call him out . Then he turns into a crying baby and him and all his friends FF since I'm the one solo playing with them . They didn't even have a teir 1 turret down and we had 2 inhibs and dragon soul while the enemy's had 0 dragons . I was so salty that people like this exist
@@mashinalawalt7891 the thing is, that's the problem. Yes we'll win our lane 100% of the time, yes i always got first blood on the enemy adc and support. But wtf am i gonna do when the jg can't smite, the baron and mid lane feed 0/10? That's the problem. This is a team game and the advice is mostly on winning the laning phase but it's still just an RNG of getting a good teammates because it takes more than just winning your lane to win the game
@@lolcall5295 I feel what you're feeling, cause i'm in the same spot many times. We choose the hardest role to climb with, no debate here, adc is a shit role to climb, everyone aggree on that, and to climb at a rate that feel good (more than 60% wr i would say) you have to smurf games, litterally. It requires much more to climb as adc than any other role cause you have to manage micro/macro and be good at it to climb consistently. And we also often want to play proper adcs and not mages (seraphine for exemple). So yeah, it's a gambling fest and it's sometimes shit to feel that cause the grind is really slower. You take loss that you didn't deserve. Also, i want to point something: smurfs. When you hit gold+, there is a lot a diamond/plat players or even higher that plays in this bracket and not considered smurfs as they don't play to win but to try things and many of them ruin game by being an unfair asset for their team or by trolling. Even with all that shit, there is still only one thing we can change, it's ourselves, by trying to get better at the game and grind our way, but it's going to take way more games and knowledge than any other role (as a solo player). BUT, when we'll get to higher ranks, we'll can say we didn't rank up the easy way, we are fucking warriors adc. Advices aren't bad, they will not just magically gives you games, cause we are stucking ourselves by playing adc.
Not gonna lie i stop ADC this season to play as a Jungler. This season in SoloQ its only huge AP dammages on botlane as Support with you or against you, so in teamfight you doesnt have peel you have to play like a god and even if you are a god in teamfight you have to survive the early game with super agressiv support AP guys and you cant farm correctly or die in few seconds you don't even know how. ADC atm is a nightmare if you are a SoloQ player with decent level but not LCS ADC which is not the case of 99.99% of guys watching this vid. ADC are literally the b**** of everyone you don't know why you are already in 0/3 sometimes cause of AP Supports you are farming peacefully and you are hearing "HASAGI" from nowhere and a 26 feet polar bear jumping on you without even survive because you have a Lux as Support who of course miss her Q and then fake helping with her magnificent W with 40hp shield.
xDD the current adc meta is long range. Adcs are even taking ghost instead of heal/exhaust. Gotta run from everything and have the range to hit everything.
5:10 I get flamed all the time by my silver and bronze friends for choosing to go for wave, even if we just killed their bot laners and our mid is under the enemy turret with prio, my sup and jungler are going to drake and no one save their jungler can contest, though that would be a 1v2. I get flamed for not baby sitting and not missing wave.
That's so overcomplicated for absolutly nothing. Except the First 2 tips who are really really minor (but still usefull) All the other things could be simplified by saying "Recognize if it will be good fight or not, and play around that"
you have no idea how good of a mindset that is. i am myself learning to be more of a teamplayer too. but when i get autofilled support i know what i like in a support. there are too many supports out there who seem to play more for themselves as an actual support. but i am sure there are plenty of ADC's out there that do that too.
I actually found this tilted me more in the end. I made a support account and skipped divisions with 80% winrates on random champions that I hardly know how to play all the way to nearly platinum already. I found out I really am being trolled constantly and that it was so much easier than being an adc. Now that this is burned into my head, I find it very hard to not flame supports when I know it was their fault we lost the lane or game. There are so many more things a support can do than afk and wait to poke/hook or farm and even in platinum most of them are afk standing around. I've been tempted to grind that support account a bit further to see if I can surpass my main adc account or not and climb higher than I ever have, but it sucks because I want to dedicate to the role I've played for ages. Patience and Mind games are what this role is, and seeing this video on it really confirms that it is a major issue I have and a fight within myself moreso than the game. So I'm going to recommend not experiencing the other role unless you're a support wanting to know how adc works. But an adc wanting to know how support works, well... You're going to figure out it isn't very complicated once you know how the waves and lane works in general.
Skillcapped: don’t set yourself on fire to warm your teammates. Also skillcapped: it doesn’t matter if it’s the wrong play, as long as you’re making it together as a team.
You have to gauge whether you can turn the play or not. Even if its a "bad play" if you are fed and can turn it around then just follow ur team and make it work. If you look and see enemy team has item advantage, prio, and wards, then don't go.
Wrong play as in there's an obvious better option, but since this option is being forced, commit with the team so you can play as a strong 5 instead of a weak 4
I am learning adc and i just came up with this thing to keep in mind while playing: the secret is patience. And now you came telling me this exact situation, i reached diamond for the first time thanks to this mentality. Thank you
Meanwhile, I have a lot of patience but my support doesn't (and usually high elo supports who are smurfing). So they get super mad at me for not inting with them.
@@skyleite2065 I'm just saying it's a bad example of the point he is trying to make because at the end of the day you are gonna need a somewhat capable support who knows what you want to do. so its still a coin flip and starting of the video with an example that is already a coinflip while he said he would uncoinflip your soloq games just sounded funny to me
Guide by a jungler "it can b e better following the bad calls of your teammates for damage mitigation" Adc "if you know its a lost fight dont take it and get yourself ahead" lets be real we just take another role that's not so team dependent and climb until people have an idea on how to play like cookielol does with jungle...
It's telling when the first tip of the video is something the support is supposed to do. I'm trying to climb out of silver here. Most supports are that ELO are autofilled or too inexperienced to ever do anything creative or clever like that. I'm lucky if my supports even use their abilities correctly much less know how to push for level 2 effectively.
Bruh I promise you, if you are stuck in silver as ADC it’s a YOU problem, not a support problem. You’re laning wrong. There’s a reason people can climb Bronze/Silver solo with 90% win rate or higher.
Jesus christ the intro hits home. Then the advice is instantly "make your support do something" Nope I've subbed to skillcapped for a while and obviously i'm improving but it's also such a tilting curse because now I notice the support differences in the first waves I've had a few games recently with different supports, same scenario, they don't hit the wave vs the ennemy pushing, the support goes in to hit his spells gets instantly killed (gank or catch) and I get dived 2v1 with their exhaust cause theres a massive wave crashing at lvl 2 or 3 and I couldn't thin it out in time.
I am nowhere near an expert but both the first and third clip wont happen in lower ranked solo queue. Your support using their Targon's on the 3rd melee minion wont happen in a solo queue game. Then the third clip with you trolling the Rengar trying to port back you can hear you and your support communicating. They are absolutely good tips but dont say they are to help your solo queue grind when Im 2 min and 39 seconds in to the video and 2 of the 3 tips require coordination that would not be found in a real, non smurf, low rank, SOLO queue. Now back to the video.
I kind of agree. This is a good video with good tips, but these tips are underexplained and some examples aren't really real. They happen, but not too often. For example, people in euw platinum ignore any calls for a dive in like 7 times out of 10. Yes, there are other ways to abuse low hp opponent, but they aren't even hinted in this video, which is alright, but makes S+ level of guide drop to like A.
@@LuckyGnom See you are talking platinum. Im climbing in bronze 1 (Ive been playing the game/genre 3 months leave me alone lol) and any type of coordination required by a teammate is not happening if it rarely does in plat.
@@dracuhl8342 I play EUW plat (1) as well and for me like 9/10 of the melee supports that aren’t autofill actually use their item on the last two minions. It gets better fast.
You know what will happen in a solo queue low elo game? The enemy Tristana using her jump to last hit. The problem is low elo players just handshake over things all 40 minutes because they don’t know any better.
These videos on "How to easily reach Diamond as...or in 3 hrs/weeks" are a misnomer b/c MMR determines your rank and you cannot climb beyond it. Once your MMR goes sour, at whatever rank, you can climb no further on that account. It doesn't reset each season and you can't fix it. On my main account, which is D1, my MMR sucks which means if I lose one game, just one game, at D1 0lp? I get demoted to D2 75lp. If I win 3 in a row in D1 I get 10-15 per win and if I lost the next? I lose 20-25. That's the reason league is trash b/c the system will not let you climb beyond your MMR and people that try? Often end up raging so hard their accounts get banned. There are low elo players that watch this and get gassed into thinking they can climb from the tips they get but if their MMR is shit? It won't make a difference. I'd rather you make videos about how Riot's MMR has destroyed the enjoyment of ranked over the last 3 seasons...It might end up forcing them to change it.
Not gonna lie I'm silver kai'sa adc and the majority of my games I stomp enemy bot lane during laning phase but I still lose and tbh I don't know if it's my fault or and I mean OR if it's my inting top lane, my jnle that only came bot once maybe twice with no OBJ, or my midlane doing fairly decent. So to sum it up I come out of lane fed to find out that yone with sunfire has the same amount of items as me and my top lane is off in his own world 0/4 and they have 2 drakes. IM JUST GONNA GO BACK TO PLAYING JANNA I SWEAR 🤬.
I have a tip: Every game when you see the other team die with long enough CD you should carefully look for opportunities to take the second tower bot side. So many people don't take second tower when they might have.
In fact, rengar will come 2-3 times after getting 6 cause he's pre with someone on bot. U're 0:4:0 are ripped off no turret about 40 cs if not more behind gl hf. Jungler which never ganked has less kill participation than you. Both solo lanes are losing, you think okay bad game. Going for a second and this time your supp is an Egirl Yuumi otp and has never played anything else. So same shit happens again but this time you're alone until supp hops off then you're literally alone. Ggwp
How to climb as ADC: Pray to RNJESUS, so that you may have a team that at least collectively have half a brain. Because let's be honest you can be an 8/0 ADC you still get deleted by an 0/7 assassin/bruiser
Minute 1 Shit advice. No low elo support is even close to thinking to use his targons to hit level 2, so only possible in Duo. Whole video is clickbait now. Even the rest of the advice, everything depenent on the support. When to engage, when to trade... if you do it alone in low elo its useless.
Now I realize that if I have 30% more winrate on cait than Kai sa it's cuz I'm only poking with cait and punish and try to fight too much with Kai sa 😭
I don't know why I watch these. I don't even play. I would rather be low elo and have fun than follow the advice of play slow and boring to get diamond though.
Just started watching the video, nobody respects early level leads in low elo anyways and getting my other teammate to act weak accordingly in solo queue is a joke.
For anyone wondering if it is worth getting a skill capped membership, it is especially if you are looking to climb and improve. I've been using skill capped for a while now and it has been a massive help and helps me do plays that i would have never known to do. There are also coaching sessions you can rent for additional help! You should get skill capped.
@@jeremypen7818 well the base of skillcapped is actually pretty cheap i comparison to some other ones only live coaching get more up there in cost and that is bcs it takes actual time for the challs to get it done with you
after this video I did 29/5/10 225 cs minute 31 with samira, my support pyke was very good tho, also I play from season 3. thanks u are a big help! my summoner name is PositiveSilence on eune just watch the replay unofficial penta :) I also have everything muted except ally pings even enemy emotes.
@@damianwilliams7084 nah, just in a loosing streak. And i can't remember last ff which wasn't when they were already in front of the nexus. Even if it is 6/26 (me being 4/2) there are always 2 people saying no.
Bro I am a bronze jungle player and I am 100% confident I could coach a challenger player in any Elo and make them carry. The game is simple it’s just rules, especially jungle I legit win every game that is winnable when I focus and play to win.
