What I do is put it in the Bobby-pin leaving a tail. Then wrap the tail around.

I know this is a year old but I had this "upside down pony tail" hair tool since I was a kid I never used, literally much a plastic stick with a loop on the end. Tried it with that and makes life 10x easier lol

Agreed, if your going to do a tutorial you have to take everyone into consideration, some ladies don’t get allowances and sometimes their moms and dads can’t afford to buy them nice things, or maybe some people have bills to pay because they are adults and just need a simple pony tail so that they can get back to their office job.

And you know, either spending time with their family or trying to get enough sleep, or, if they have time and access to books, courses or just the Internet, educating themselves and gaining new skills to get better jobs and not be so poor. Or they might be working a couple of jobs or working and studying part-time and just barely getting enough sleep and it's a luxury if they have enough time to wash their hair, so they wouldn't be spending time fussing with their hair for the "perfect, chic ponytail" or "adding volume" or anything like that! So extensions or not wouldn't even come into question! And you know, millions, or rather billions (!) of people in the world who are living in ACTUAL POVERTY, none of these things are relevant at all, as they can't afford food, electricity, running water, healthcare, medication, dental care... And will be happy if they can afford a toothbrush or toothpaste! You ask for tutorials without extensions bc some do not have them in order to ensure inclusiveness yet some of us do use extensions and they can be tricky especially if you're putting your hair up! To do a mix of with and without its what true inclusivity looks like! PS - extensions do not have to be expensive, even synthetic ones that are really inexpensive are available and last if you learn to care for them properly.

Rimsha Khalid There is always ways to style your hair to hide things you don’t like. Try twisting your bangs and pinning them back. braiding could also be an option. Since bangs are short they will grow out fast so don’t worry too much. They short layers will grow out too but to conceal them you could either cut the long hair shorter to make medium layers or try curling the short pieces into longer pieces. Play with your hair and try out all different styles to see what makes you feel confident. Practice really does make perfect here. Hope this helps! ❤️
