This is one vay how to easy recover gold from low grade connectors pins,not much work to extract pins,muriatic acid-hcl is cheap and you can use sodium nitrate for nitric acid sourche.Just fill the bucket with solutions like a stockpot,add solid copper in it and leave it fo a vhyle.Add a bubler for oxigen sourche to speed up time and on the end,colect your gold from botom of bucket and refine it for beter purity.You can do the same with platinum and palladium solutions to-from catalytic converters exemple.See you ;)
P.S The guy in picture just sleep on duty,so we make funy picture how i smash him from abowe hahha,not seriosly .

Use a gold stripper solution, extremely cheap and works extremely fast can be made or bought
@chosen1one930
@chosen1one930 2 года назад
This is how this method works, you dissolve gold than it cements back out on the base metals, copper, iron etc. If you still have base metals left over gold is plated out and you lose some or a lot of your yield, streetips just had a video on this with low yield pins he started with hcl to begin with but same principle once he switch to AR. This is why using AR isn't good, you need to consume almost all of the base metals, with that being done you either have almost all of the gold in solution OR as gold mud/dirt some foils if your filtering the solution and using fresh AR in small doses. A gold stripper solution really works best for low yield material, it may yield slightly lower but profit is greater due to gold stripper being so cheap

I LOVE processing gold pins of all sorts of quality and grade personally and I must admit that I learned that AP method from you good sir ☺️ Now connector (s) is a horse of a different color sir! To be Frank, never yet have I tried to process connectors with gold pins still intact left inside them. I have always meticulously gone over each and every connector removing the pins prior to first doing a HCL boil (tin removal) with a few drops of sulfuric to precipitation of lead. Then nitric boils. Then hit Aqua Regia and watch the magic happen. Drop. And repeat aqua regia. Filter & dry. Then when enough gold powder is collected after multiple batches, I'll melt it down using MAPP and an oxyacetylene torch. Then handpour typically either 1 Troy ounce bars or possibly sometimes I'll make smaller bars like grams and half ounce bars. Same with silver. Anyway that's my process used over a decade. I'm eagerly stoked and overjoyed checking out what new technique you have to show us kind sir!

An excellent tip for when working with many small batches. This recovery method should also prevent losses, versus chasing each small amount to completion.

Awesome mate, right now I'm sitting with over twenty kilograms of pins and plugs in front of me to process, some excellent, some not so good, it's driving me insane pulling tonnes of pins out of plugs, this will make a much better way, thank you

I get it off the filter first. Then boil it in water several times until the water is clear. Then I use HNO3 to remove everything but the gold. Water boils again to remove all the HNO3. What remains will be the gold with some contamination. It gets refined in Ar 2 more times. The last time I did my bucket it had about 6 grams of gold and several ounces of silver. It took a day to clean up

Sorry mate. I am not impressed. You have created a true mess here. Wasted time, money and chemicals. You should dissolve base metals first. Then you did not do anything about the silver chloride that has formed when you applied AR. Tin and phosphorous bronze is a pain in the arm in that mix. Also you should have reduced the non-metallic portion right in the beginning. The gold obtained from this stone age method is minimal . And so on. Sorry for the critics. Please teach yourself more about the recovery and read more about it!
