I love this style you did a wonderful job mom. I'm doing this style for my daughter for her first day of school!! I wish you didn't feel like you had to explain her not being fast or the ponytail being appropriate for her age. White girls never get those phrases/stereotypes put on them but our little black girls do. I completely understand what you're saying, but I just wish it wasn't an issue within our community. I see a little girl with a ponytail, that's it.
Absolutely beautiful!!!! Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday and first day of school. I'm taking her to get it professionally pressed since my flat iron is ceramic and not titanium and then I'll bring her home and do the sleek pony look.
You don't have to explain its if she fast. Its you kid your kid hair and you decision. A hairstyle doesn't make black girl grown it how you raise them.
Your daughter is so beautiful! Please don't think any of the styles look too grown. I have children by a black man and I see the differences in expectations. Most little white girls wear their hair down (I always did) Now if I get my daughters hair straightened and I have it out, being she's biracial, people say she looks grown. If my daughter was full white, no one would bat an eye.
So this style is not for fast girls? I’m confused or are fast girls not fit the pony tale ? Why are we even associating fast girls with this hair style at all do you think the hair style will help a fast girl get pregnant ? Long hair don’t turn a girl into a H😱 ma’am … My 9 yr old has 3c-4a hair and it’s down to her waist naturally. So by ur logic I should go chop it off cuz it will magically make her boy crazy Let your baby feel she’s beautiful by experimenting with hairstyles. Drives me crazy when I hear ppl say hair length equals s* promiscuity. IT DONT‼️
