Love how you paint your nails, so deliberate and precise . People might say the video was long but I loved it but I guess its just me lol . Wish I could paint half as good.

I'm going to eventually try gel...and when I do, these tips are going to help a lot! I picked up so much from this 1 video, like the alcohol step after the cure, and pushing down the stamp pattern to avoid bumps...thanks for sharing your knowledge! :-D

I know, I miss them too. But at first, at my job, they forbid us to have false nails. So I took them off. Then later they said they can't be the shape and length anymore that they had. So short and stubby it is... Untill I have a weekend off, and then I will go all out with my nails. I have a weekend off in 2 weeks, so I can finally properly do my nails again, instead of doing a design on sunday and removing it on friday for work (I only work weekends)

+Jenna Ridgway I think you can share an opinion w./o being slick. Yes, it is a little too much to film you painting each nail from base coat to final coat in real time. People usually click for the design so have your other nails done, do a demonstration on one or two nails with tips i.e. showing you using base coat, and using alcohol and then go into the design part. I know it is your video but most people who are doing nail art know how to polish, if not they would look for a how to apply neat polish tutorial, and you don't need to show every step. I skipped through half of the video to get to the design part.

+Shara Banks When I do gel nails, people moan I need to do acrylic. When I do acrylic, people moan I need to do gel. When its a short video people moan it lacks info and images. When its long people moan it's too long. When I have pointy nails, people want short and round. I know I can't please everyone, because no matter what I do, there is always gonna be a negative comment. I dont mind them, I like advice, but like you said:,the way one delivers advice/criticism, means a lot.

I have a problem with gelpolish. if doing more than one nail at a time will not be good. it goes back to the Middle away from the cuticel, and if do 2 colors they move away from each other and it becomes a pretty big space between them. it's Ms.Keiko soak off Polishes

Predator Wolf you should do only one nail at a time then. It's normal for gel polish to pull back, you have to be fast with it.When doing 2 colors, you can try doing one color first and cure, and then apply the second on top

TheSongs SheSings "Curing your nails" is for gel nails and gel polishes. Curing means that it needs to in a UV or LED lamp in order for it to harden.

normally it takes 2-3 strokes to paint one nail but this was like...20 strokes in one nail O_O its like u have OCD....

+Erza Scarlet Dragneel see that's the difference between gel and nail polish. indeed with nail polish 2-3 strokes and its done. With gel you have to make sure it is everywhere, and applied even, if not you have pits and lumbs and bumps and sometimes it doesn't stick right away. And call it sort of OCD, I have to make sure it covered really well

You need a little copper in there. Then they will really look like turquoise

E Yin do keep in mind I am doing this on myself, with a camera between my arms, trying to see whats going on, trying to show everything, trying to not be too quick or too slow to make sure everyone can see clearly. Ofcourse, if all of this didn't matter and I would have a salon, it would go much quicker
