These burgers are likely cooked sous vide, i.e in a vacuum bag with an immersion circulator gradually raising the temperature of the meat to be uniform across the entire surface of the patty. It's the secret to serving burgers en masse at a consistent quality. The burger is already cooked. You just throw it in the pan alongside the bun, take it out and assemble it. 2 minutes on either side. Boom. Done. Nigga, no. It's sugar and high-carb diets that cause diabetes. That said, protein and fat are fine in moderation. Nobody needs to cut em out entirely. The only true poison to the human body is sugar.
