0:26 This appears to be a Japanese (not Chinese) restaurant called "Tokyo Dinner" (from the wooden sign on top of the entrance). "Dinner" is written in katakana, one of the three Japanese alphabets. I love your videos, thanks for making them ! Jay Forman is an amazing presenter btw !!

in all fairness, most of the "Indian" food we eat here isn't actually eaten in India, it's simply Indian inspired food designed to appeal to British individuals.

Both are amazing, but if you go to Italy expecting massive deep dish pizzas with shit loads of random toppings you're going to be disappointed.

I don't tip when I go to resteraunts. sometimes I'll put a pound or two into a tip jar if its at the counter but other than that I'm just gonna pay for my food.

Normally tipping is done in mid to high end restaurants and pubs. Source - I have friends and family who work in pubs.

Tipping is a middle/upper class thing in Britain. It's done as a token of appreciation, though, as opposed to guilt-tipping like one does in the States.

Tipping is not normal in the UK. Not unless the service was exceptional and even then it is not expected at all

Keep in mind this is for foreign, usually American tourists. Foreigners as a rule should tip because they're on holiday and not consistently contributing to the local economy.

NO! DO NOT TIP! Tipping is a terrible terrible practice born of tax-dodging, racist, tycoons, and if it is accepted, will mean employers can get away with underpaying deserving staff. You tip if you're a large group or particularly difficult for some reason, causing extra work.

10-15 percent tip?! Pfft. Up north we usually tip a couple of quid no matter what it costs. £10 meal, 2 quid tip? £100 meal, 2 quid tip. And it has to be 2 £1 coins as if you use 1 £2 coin it looks less.
