I think you can access css within the FSE now. Trouble is I want to be able to get to "head" tag. Really need to know how to colour the 'status bar' of mobile devices. where the phone is displaying wifi signal, time, battery etc. FSE 2024 theme is doing some weird things where some colours fill that area and others don't.

I think it's also worth mentioning this is only available in the paid plans. You can't edit the CSS without a suscription plan.

Hi! Thanks for watching! I think you're referring to WordPress.com. This is WordPress.org, which is free. All WordPress.org sites allow you to edit the CSS. :)

Great video. I'm new to CSS, so how do I know what css to insert in the ADDITIONAL CSS? I want to change the menu font size and type, and also change other areas of my website

Hey! Thanks for watching! I use the "Inspect Element" tool in the Chrome browser. Here's a good article that outlines how to do that. Let me know if you have any other questions. blog.hubspot.com/website/how-to-inspect

This does not work, the URL you gave just redirects you back to the same page where you can only use the site editor and not access CSS.

Hi! Thanks for watching. I just tested the URL and it worked for me. I'm using the Coffee Block theme, which is a theme compatible with the full site editor. So, that URL will only work if you are using a theme that is compatible with the full site editor. At least that is my experience. What theme are you using?
