Thanks for taking the effort to make this. About a month ago this would have been a great video. Webflow changed this logic recently and for the life of me I can't figure out how to style RTE elements in Collection anymore. Why it has to be cumbersome remains a mystery. It seems the new variable system they introduced is creating all kinds of new issues in the UI. Would love to know how to do it with the current build they released.
Head to the rich text element, add a class (Maybe name it "RichText") then go back to the link you element within the rich text you were trying to style. You should now be able to, for example, nest your "All Text" class inside the "Rich Text" class.
OMG! Thank you so much!! I've been trying to figure out how to change the color of my links in the RTE because mine turned to white and i couldn't figure it out. Thank you for this!!
I don't have that tick box for "get text from blog post" option. And when i disconnect property all the text from the rich text block disappears (not the one it is pulling from CMS, but the custom one)
@@canbymax Not really. For the rich text there is no tick-box. One strange thing that I noticed is when I click on rich text options it says "rich text block options" instead of "inner text options". I later found out that they updated the whole rich text segment recently, so maybe it works differently now?
It's not wroking for me, I tried to do the same but the menus are not exactly the same, and when I connect with the CMS everything stays as before. I think they have changed and there are some issues. I've been trying this for 2 hours and different things, it shouldn't be that difficult!! XD Anyway, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
