Your website may be built different, you may not have permissions to edit, or else something weird is happening. The edit buttons on the page are front end editing, but it’s something that can be turned on and off for users. Might be the case with yours, or else it’s been built in a weird way, or potentially with a site builder. Also you will need to have a front end login form in order to see the buttons. Logging in on the backend won’t make them automatically show up.

Very good tutorial. The problem joomla had long ago was that joomla relied too much on modules. Most of the sites I do is based on Helix framework and SPPB which offers frontend editing which makes it super easy for people to manage. I restrict modules because people tend to play with them and change things they should not. So i would say it’s better to use a builder rather than articles and modules to avoid people back and forth in the admin.

I agree, personally i like using modules for global things like headers, and footers. But a builder for the pages is a nice way to go for users

@@wtwbyou are correct. Header and footer stays in modules as these will not change for a while, but content that may change, I push them on the page. Cheers.

Hi ! Can you make a video about text over an image like a banner for example and simple buttons? Now I take my banner and put text on it like “Welcome” in Photoshop but I know that is not the proper way. The same with buttons. 😮thx a lot.

In order to do that you’re gonna need to know a bit of HTML and CSS to achieve that, however yes it is better, and easier for search engines

@@TimDeWaeleas mentioned you will still need base knowledge in css to achieve it but it can be done!
