Hi friends! In today’s video I’m sharing one of my latest editing hacks, using Riverside to edit faster! With their AI editing features, I’ve been able to cut down my editing process from hours to just minutes. My favorite features are the silence remover that removes all pauses in 2 seconds, the transcript editor which allow you to edit your video by editing the transcript, and magic clips which takes the best moments in your video and turns them into short clips for RU-vid Shorts, TikTok, or IG reels.

This was so helpful! Editing is part of what holds me back. Another cool trick that you can try, based on what you said about using the transcript to edit your video is to use a phrase in filming. For example if you say a line and then mess it up, you could say "okay delete that" and continue on. Then when you're editing in this AI program, you can search for your delete phrase and cut those out immediately, saving you a ton of time.

Omg! I work a full time job, take care of my mom who has dementia and trying to do my video and editing. If I didn't love what I do I would give up.

Thanks Kamillah, I do need to lockdown a podcast platform like this quickly, as I'm a full time content creator and entertainer. Um... I see that you did show how editing can be done quickly here. Which is awesome. However I must ask, as my initial search was for "Podcast Platforms" when I came across your video in the search results. Or maybe it was for Riverside, I can't be sure now. Does Riverside also do a good job of recording and editing video podcasts let's say we want to have guests on our talkshow from their own homes (and ours), and assuming we both have good webcams and microphones? Thank you :) I did get a sign today to sign up for Riverside (I'm super spiritually-tuned), and so Riverside it is, and since yours is the first in-depth video I watched about it, I will be using your links and codes! Can you also edit other things in the editor? Say zoom in and other effects like adding text ect.? How is the quality of the video after exporting the file?

You can crop but there aren't specific zoom in or out features yet. You can add captions and logos so far. And the video quality is very good after exporting.
