I also grew up in Europe. Being attractively dressed and presenting yourself in a stylish way is an art. I miss social graces I grew up with. I have been ignoring local folks who have been staring at me since 1969. I want to believe they are jealous. There is nothing like the feeling of being well heeled.
nice basics again, true effects, yeah to have a good body awareness and upright position also lifts up your confidence and mood, so true! Also reducing the wardrobe good quality basics instead of overloading your closet really is inspiring, here we go again, less is most of the time more. Hello Agnes, I have the same problem with good posture and a larger "bosom" (as my granny used to say!) - and the photos of Sophia Loren were a lovely reminder that good posture, even with a voluptuous figure, can look very elegant and collected. I think the only other tip I have is that my grandmother also said to keep things simple, not too many accessories or too many designs or ruffles, especially all at once! So your point about the belt being simple and without a logo would fall into that category.
You're so right about posture, I always hold my shoulders and head back now to avoid getting a hump on my back, which by the way is very ageing. I tend to have a bit of a belly and I've been doing core strengthening exercises, at first it felt a bit strainge but now it feels natural to hold my tailbone in, belly protrudes less so I look slimmer too.

Completely agree about the posture element! Definitely carrying yourself, and also behaving in a polite, cordial elegant manner greatly impact the over all impression of your "look". Great video 🤍

Perhaps you could speak of Jadwiga Grabowska in a video, her Feniks Boutique, how fashion and beauty helped restore Warsaw post-war. I’ve struggled with really bad posture since my teens, it never occurred to me that it might be because, like you, I’m larger-busted. I need all the reminders I can get, it’s so difficult to improve my posture.
@KP: Now in my late 70's and never have had a large bust however now due to an old back injury I currently find myself having to correct my posture as have the tendency to lean forward to relieve pain. Just thought I would share that with you to let you know 'you are not alone' on having to work at good posture.

The other thing I do is to make sure my clothes and accessories are in perfect condition, including crisply ironed. I see so many outfits ruined by wrinkles (and food stains, BTW).

A simple wardrobe in white, black, grey, camel, brown and olive with a few colourful pieces, all in very good quality, everythings goes well together, classic chelseas in cognac, black excellent ankle boots and not too much but very well selected classic jewellery. And a good manicure, nothing fancy, just close to nude or natural and not too long, every three weeks. And pilates every day for a good silhouette ... so important, as you said.
