blog.stampintx.com Check out how to emboss using the Framelits dies. The dies are usually used for cutting but when you layer your paper this way, it embosses! Become a fan on facebook - stampintexas
I honestly don't know why other people when doing videos can't be so blooming good as this one. concise and to the point. no yapping on about the weather or what not. please carry on doing your videos like this I live it. thank you so much for sharing your talent xx
I don't know where I have been, but I am so glad I learned from your video how to use the framelits for this! I had wondered if it could be done, but I'd not had the nerve to try it on my own! Thank you!
Elizabeth - you can do it! Don't you just love it when there's a different way to use a product? Thank you for your feedback and I'm glad it was just the boost you needed to give it a try. Happy stamping!
Hi Christi. Thanks so much for showing the different layers to the Big Shot. I have a Vagabond but recently acquired a Big Shot. The sandwiches are a bit different. Your videos are helping me convert my process thinking. Creative Blessings!
so embossing means when we flip our die cuts or framelet in this case to creat a little raised image ? so rather then cutting the image with the die cut it raises the image to h give it a shadow? ALSO embossing also means when u use embossing powder to raise your letters with glitters?
Hi, thank you for your video! I love the card and the idea of embossing with the framelits!! I am having a problem finding the silicone rubber mat you used. You stated it came with your Big Shot. Mine only came with the cutting plates. And I couldn't find anything in the Stampin Up catalog except the Silicone Craft Sheet. Are they the same thing? Thank you for your help :)
The Multipurpose Platform and cutting plates come with the Big Shot. Unfortunately, Stampin' Up! discontinued the silicone rubber product. (Not the same as the silicone craft sheet.) You could ask your demonstrator or other demos if they have it and would be willing to sell it. Hope that helps!
Where do I get the rubber mat you talked about? It didn't come with my BigShot (I got my machine years ago ) I want to emboss with my dies, not cut. Thanks
Hi, im new to crafting so I know nothing :-( I just purchased a big shot die cutting machine and im totally confused about embossing. however, I was thrown by your use of the words 'scratch card'.. what exactly is that? iv searched the net but all I can find is scratch cards which is gambling here is the uk. there must be an equivalent name for scratch card in America and the UK... I just cant imagine what it could be as im so new to all this. thank you for your help. love your videos, great for us newbies :-) just need even the most tiniest of detail when one knows nothing at all. cheers aj x
Scratch card is just a piece of scrap (as in throwaway) paper that you won't be using for anything. Scratch card is a common term used by crafters in both the UK and US and you'll hear it a bit when you watch more videos :) Have fun crafting and welcome!
