The needle weaving bar is like the woven picot stitch- it is also a 3D embroidery stitch that pops away from the fabric. To start, insert a sewing pin at the top point of the needle weaving bar. Then bring the threaded need up at the bottom left base of the bar. Wrap the thread around the pin and bring the needle back down at the bottom left of the bar. Next, bring the needle up in between the two bottom stitches. Now start weaving the bar. From the inside of the two threads, slide the needle underneath one side. Gently tug so that the thread is flush to the base of the bar. Then bring the needle underneath the opposite side’s thread, again working from the middle. Continue working up the bar. The stitches should be tightly packed in to fill the bar, but not pulled so tightly that they distort the shape. At the top of the bar, remove the pin. Then end the thread by sliding the needle underneath a few of the threads on one side of the bar. Gently pull the thread through and cut away the extra.
