NO ONE yet has access to the new 4o voice app, including you. Mate. i usually like your videos. but this one is a real non-starter. First, you don't even include the info you promised at the start, and then instead, you link to a video that doesn't even exist. PLUS that initial ChatGPT voice app section, is not the new voice app. Its the old one, that came out about 9 months ago. You have clearly edited the video to remove the pause between you speaking and ChatGPT speaking to make it look like its the new one. As I say, I like your videos usually - but this one is a thumbs down for me

@@FullServiceDigital yeah, obviously you got it already, but I paid for the $20/mo to check it out and it gave me access to it. It looks like there still isn't the vision aspect available yet, but according to others on the internet it will be available in rollouts throughout the next few weeks.

This video is not correct the voice you reffering to is chatgpt 4 not the 4o voice. 4o Voice is in alpha and still rolling out (with faster replies, emotion etc) - the demo you saw from open AI. You will notice it switches to 4o when you can pull up the camera while chatting to 4o voice.

Hi could you help me which chatgpt text on screen talking to chat gpt. It used shoe speech text on screen while talking but it show only those bouing bars.i want to reat texts when chatgpt is speaking as English is not my first language.. Is there anyway toggle it?

This is not ChatGPT 4o yet. It just uses the old voice mode. To test this, ask it to "sing a song in a dramatic voice" the old version just uses a flat voice.

Just had a short chat with gpt4 omni using just voice on an android phone and it worked really fast and natural like talking with a friend. You can even interupt the chat to amend or change the topic and unlike real people it doesn't get mad. Lol

In rolling out advanced GPT4 (GPT4o) to free users, which is super useful (web search, faster and current info), they have reserved the privilege of using GPT4o voice (and vision) to paid users. As such, they have unfortunately removed the vanilla GPT4 voice from the free app. So yes, as I mention, it's only for paid users. Hope that makes sense!

Yeah this is BS - I was happily talking to GPT for a few months and then when 4o came out I didn't know how to update so I deleted the app - reinstalled from the App Store and bingo it's actually not an update but a regression because now there's no headphone icon and this video is bullshit.

You know matter of factly that anyone clicking on this video thinks you're talking about something you're not. Mayyyyybe you didn't know when you made the video and maybe you edited the description to EVENTUALLY explicitly state what you're talking about, but with a video that released almost a year after the old voice and only a few days after the new voice, anything short of saying up front in the video title that you're not talking about 4o voice is beyond blatant clickbait, approaching violating ToS. I guarantee not a single person clicked on this video because they wanted to figure out how to access the text-to-speech app from 9 months ago and you have several points where you either imply or explicitly state that you're referring to the 4o voice app. Idk how much revenue you make from this but it can't be worth how many subscribers you'll lose if you keep this video up
