I had to do it both ways. It only enabled 4.0 via the powershell, then I had to do the gui to install 3.5. But thank you so much for the help! Saved me an hour or so with HP!
Good video, well explained. Unfortunately did not fix my problem. Turned out that I had to remove my server from the domain and put it into a workgroup. Install then worked and I was able to put it back in the domain.
Well, what can I say? Installing E2k10 on Win Server 10 on VM Virtualization and all the while I was specifying the media location. It was very frustrating! Tried ISO, WIM deployment, mounting etc etc..Nothing worked...Thanks to your help both by Core and GUI way. Appreciate your expertise Sir!!
Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for your very very effective and helpful vide, really i was badly stuck with this , but your video made my day. i am subcribing and thumbs up for you. keep doing such a nice work.MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
Here is a much simpler answer. Make the following registry change, then try the update: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Servicing] "RepairContentServerSource"=dword:00000002 This will allow you to pull the update directly from Windows Update via the internet
dear brother, thanks a lot. what about using install.wim. I tried GUI method but failed. I don't know why. I tried install.wim method but also failed. if you got time make a video for using install.vim method in PS.
Hi Fahad, I had some issues when I try to enable .NET framework with a different OS media. It will not always work if you try to enable it on Windows 2012 with Windows 8 disk for example. I will see what I can do, stay tuned!

I have tried to bridge my VMWare adapter and the Physical Host, RealTek to utilize intenet on Virtual environment. Both machines are in the Class C range: 192.168.1.x....The virtual adapter does not connect. I need some guidelines in this regard, Nick. Can you please assist, Nick?My physical host runs Win 7; Virtual runs Win 2012 Std. VMworkstation: 12.
Hi Sashi, this is fairly strange. Can you ping your home gateway from the virtual machines? Did you make any changes on the network adapter after it was reconfigured for a bridged mode?
dude , you are just speaking slow & talking about obvious things and wasting time. Everyone can do with with an ISO.. What people wanted you to make work was from powershell as you have internet connection. and that gave an error.
Perfect. Thank you! My only criticism is a small one; the intro music is punishingly loud compared to your relatively subdued voice. Headphone users beware!
Thank you for this video. Unfortunately, I am still, even with PowerShell, receiving the error that the source files could not be found. Not sure what other options I have.
