Thank you so much for the tutorial! I upgraded TPM 1.2 to 2.0 successfully on my HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G3 without any issues. It was pretty easy actually. But I'm same as you, only the processor not supported now 🤦🏻♂️ Also before attempting to upgrade it, you must update you BIOS version to the latest first & disable virtualization technology to upgrade it successfully without any issues.
How can I disable the "secure boot" entry in the bios? Because it creates a lot of problems for me and I can't install any operating system. In my bios version 843B vF.43

Hi, I did everything as explained in the video for the "Secure Boot" but forgot to turn "Secure Boot State" off to on and when I started windows and checked the "PC Health Check" it says "This PC meets Windows 11 requirements" with secure boot off (as it says in System Information). Now I don't know if I still have to turn it on or not. HELP

Will I lose my data if I use this method to change from MBR to GPT? I am using ssd as my boot drive and another 1tb HDD for storage. So will there be data loss in the other drive or the boot drive?. Please do reply.
@@davidsnackbar using that command line in CMD I successfully converted MBR to GPT without any data loss. Just make sure you change the boot settings to UEFI in the bios.. otherwise it won't boot up.
My pc has a Z390-F gaming motherboard with a tpm2.0 slot and a 9700KF processor. Before its release I installed and updated Win11 on my pc bypassing tpm2.0, secuboot and UEFI by installing the new OS with the modified Win10 Installer method and kept it up to date ever since. I recently installed an ASUS TPM2.0 chip and set all hardware and bios settings for the pc to make it a "legit" Win11 Machine. It turns out the OS already had all the latest security and function updates and latest available build BEFORE my PC met all the said requirements! In my experience, the forced hardware and BIOS setting requirements were not necessary to keep my Win11 OS up to date SO FAR. Perhapes there were no "legit only" updates out yet?
Hello! Good tutorial you provided us. Quick question: Are the options somewhat similar to the options on a gigabyte mainboard? Im facing the same issue, os drive is in mbr format and pc wont boot after secure boot is turned on. Im a little carefull because Im afraid of breaking something Greetings
Like im doing on the video i converted MBR And after that you have to change it on the bios Before you do this go e and see your bios options its anywere any option to switch it to efi

Was trying to setup everything for Win 11 , changed my C drive to GPT, than i saw i have on D drive boot and on C is system, so i cannot use UEFI secure boot in bios, it almost broke my BIOS, would not load to windows at all, instead was going to BIOS in endless loop, barely able to fix later. What can i do? System partition and boot partition is on different drives.
Thank you for all this impressive information you provide to us. I' m asking : in the case of installing windows 11 on unsupported pc, replacing the file appraiserres.dll in the source directory, it is still mandatory to change 1) boot to uefi, 2) set boot secure on, and 3) convert the hard drive? Thanks for all!
Ive had Nightmare after Nightmare with Windows 11 and ultimately unable to install. Massive issues with Converting to MBR as unable to due to Partition not found, Command Prompt asking for an unknown password which later on it excepted a new password and various issues. I'm unable to install the Software at all. Got to be the WORST effort i have ever seen from Microsoft. It shouldnt be this hard shame on them.
Very helpful. Bad news is that Dell has no upgrade from TPM 1.2 to 2.0 for my model. Also, processor not supported. Even though I can't use Windows 11, it's nice to know why.
UEFI only recognizes some partitions like GPT or MBR created while in UEFI mode. So switch your BIOS to Legacy. While on Legacy convert to GPT using MBR2GPT. Then you should be able to convert back to UEFI. I thing you didnt follow my incteuctions step by step right?
I was watching your video for 1 year can u plz make a vidio on Lenovo laptop because after restart when we press enter it's all different interface options are all different leptop not boot up plz plz make video on Lenovo it's request plz
