How to Enter/Exit Electronic Parking Brake Maintenance Mode On a 2019 Mazda CX-5

Just like in a Ford, you hold the gas down and hold the switch down while cycling the ignition off then back on to enter. Do the same to reverse this, but hold the switch up instead.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT press the brake pedal while entering/exiting maintenance mode.

I would assume this is either the sport or the Touring model. We have a 2020 Grand Touring model of this same car.

See if there is an emergency release procedure. If there is, make sure the trans is in park, the wheels are blocked, and follow the directions in the manual for how to use the emergency release.
