**THUMBS UP IF YOU ENJOYED THIS VIDEO!! =) **
I'm soooo excited about this video!!! Hair removal is probably JUST as big of an obsession of mine, as makeup! lol I've struggled with excessive body hair my entire life; it affected my life in more ways than one, so any tips or tricks, or recommendations I got, I was beyond thankful for and excited to try! So, if this helps even just ONE person, then my job here is done! =)
Epilating is a great method of hair removal, by no means is it perfect, but it does the job well. It IS painful, but if the end result of perfectly soft smooth hairless skin is important enough to you, you won't let a little pain get in the way ;) Plus, with continued use, the pain eventually subsides. Just remember to exfoliate thoroughly, use a body powder, and hold your skin taut, and the rest will be a breeze!
Happy epilating!!

I too was bullied for excessive hair in school.. you can't help genetics! It's not right. It hurt my self esteem majorly. Hair removal can be costly for the good stuff. How much do they cost? Thank you for the upload !

It varies on the method of hair removal and area being removed.. when I first started getting laser done, it was pricey! But now there are so many good deals around! Thanks for watching! xo

This really hit home. I was bullied for my body hair and ever since I was always very insecure about it. Sometimes it's just comments from people that are like "Oh, I wouldn't want to have dark hair on my arms and hands." That makes me think "I don't ~want~ that either. But I don't have a choice."

If I could go back and give myself ONE bit of advice, it would be to explain how irrelevant the opinions of others actually are in the long run. People are so cruel, especially kids/teenagers - even young adults at times, but we have to remember that only our own opinions, and ones of the people we love and respect, matter. But I get it, its tough. I let it affect me for many years, and it took me realizing that I wasn't the only one dealing with the issue, to ease the pressure off of myself. Plus, with the advanced technology these days, its so easy to take care of the problem. Just remember how beautiful you are, and don't ever give anyone the power to take that away from you.

The skin under your arms looks so smooth! Thank you for making this video. I just bought an epilator on Amazon, and I also purchased my Lidocaine cream and spray as well. I'm tired of the hyperpigmentation due to shaving, and want to be able to remove the hair more frequently.

Today was my first try at removing my facial hair. 2 rounds of Nair, followed by an epilator. My theory was: pull the hair while the Nair has it loosened. It was very painful, but took out about 85% of the hair. I'll do another run next weekend. I have had enough of the 5 o'clock shadow. What an experience.

Since the first time I tried it it was freaking painful, I went on and shaved first and went back with the epilator and did it every day for the first week. It's a LOT less painful since the hair is shorter and in minimal quantity. Then I ditched the razor and kept using the epilator every few days

YES, that one is perfect for the bikini area because it can help with detailed work! I've used other ones that had a wider plate, and it made it difficult to get into the nooks and crannies =)

@narinaxo
@narinaxo 7 лет назад
Thank you! Yeah, ingrown hairs are common, don't worry!! I prevent them by heavily exfoliating before epilation and in between sessions, but unfortunately theres no way to completely 100% avoid it. Exfoliating just helps keep it more under control. =)

where do the removed hair fall? and can i epilate in my bedroom? do the hair fall on the floor of so how can i clean it because i have lot of hair
@Celeste-vs1gz
@Celeste-vs1gz 7 лет назад
The hair gets stuck inside the epilator, so you clean it afterwards. But no, the hair won't get messy
@narinaxo
@narinaxo 7 лет назад
The hair falls on the floor and some gets trapped in the epilator. Depending on how long the hair is, it can get pretty messy. I like to avoid carpeted areas because its easy for the hair to get trapped, so as long as I work on hard surfaces, its easier to clean after afterwards by wiping the hairs with a damp paper towel. =)

You say in this video to have dry skin, but isn't doing it in the bath supposed to sooth more? Please answer I am confused now!
@narinaxo
@narinaxo 6 лет назад
tuskil Hi Love!! No, you want your skin to be dry so that it doesn’t get caught in the device. Having dry skin allows for the epilator to glide over the skin more effortlessly without skipping over the skin or dragging. They have epilators out there that are designed for use under water, but I’ve never tried those! 😊❤️

I don't usually remove my leg hair even though I'm very hairy because it never made sense to me xD and it didn't bother me anyways, but I remember the first time I did my underarms was because I sweat a lot so the hair made it worse, and I wanted to use a painful method first so I never shaved and I just waxed staight on, and I find it the least painful place tbh xD and when I do epilate or wax my legs, the closest part to the feet are the worst haha but you gotta do what you gotta do xD thanks for the video! I didn't know there aere numbing things you could use haha

Does epilation only work on shorter hairs? That's what I keep hearing but I just tried it on my under arms and I got hella cuts? Idk what I'm doing wrong!!
@narinaxo
@narinaxo 7 лет назад
From what I've found through experience, each body part is different. On areas where the hair grows in all different directions, its better if the hair is shorter to maintain more control. However, on areas where the hair grows in the same direction, it doesn't matter on the hair length. And with longer hairs, you especially want to epilate in the same direction as the hair growth first, before going against it. Also, don't forget that the first time you epilate you're working with thicker hair, so cuts and bleeding is normal. When they'll grow back, they'll be much thinner and easier to work with. Just don't forget to exfoliate! =) Hope this helps! xo

@Celeste-vs1gz
@Celeste-vs1gz 7 лет назад
Thats happends to nearly everyone who epilates. It's because the epilator pulls out the hairs, which leads to red bumps. But they go away over time. So I highly recommend that you use your epilator at night, so by morning the red spots will be gone. Hope that helped :)

Your talk before the demo is really useful for everyone in general. Not just women who are teased, ridiculed or belittled for not measuring up to beauty standards. Because everyone is expected to measure up to ideal standards. For men, it is more of having to be smart, successful and wealthy enough. And that can be just as stressful and traumatizing.
